I've also heard murmours of J5, Michael Franti and Fatboy Slim, which all came from the same source that came through for me on the De La Soul rumour last year.

Franti would be no suprise, he seems to enjoy playing falls, but Fatboy Slim would be worth buying a ticket for alone.

Fool! Do you know nothing? :D

Hire a van for three days, a two seater one with a huge space in the back and put sheets of cardboard over the windows, screen off the front with a sheet. Put a futon mattress in there and you will have the most comfortable bed at the whole festival. Then you get a large tarp, tent poles and guy ropes and devise a canopy for over the side door and you've got a place to put your deck chairs and relax when you're not at the stage watching the bands.

This set up served me well for the last three of the ten Meredith Music Festivals I attended. You stay warm, you're comfortable and you can party harder, longer into the festival because you sleep well.

Last tiem I went my tent got flooded the first night, I nearly drowned, woke up and i was floating around.

So I slept in mr car for two days.

But during the dya I just bailed and went to the beach, ate pub meals, had a drink with the black eyed peas etc :D showered, used real toilets etc. Buggered if I want to be around a few thousand other scattered mofos for three days, it's depressing as hell.

guys, that should have said MY CAR. I'd edit it, but it looks so damned homosexually funny.

Anyone seen that episode of arrested development "I'm Mr Manager!" lol

Marion Bay Sold Out.

13,000 tickets gone in 2 and a half days with no advertising.

Thats pretty scary considering vicco sold out about a month and a half out last year, that was the earliest they had ever sold out. I dont think tassie even sold out last year(correct me by all means if im wrong.

Now this year tassie sells out 3 days into ticketing, wouldnt imagine then that vicco will be far behind. The ebay scalpers will be licking their lips.

this is ridiculous... lorne didn't sell out till the end of november last year, now it sells out in 5 days... it has to be scalpers surely...

and if you're still desperate for a ticket, there's some left at the independant outlets... but these won't last long...
