Ackland was number 28 which is also available due to Prendergast getting delisted so may keep his number.

Flint should be given a lower number (perhaps 20, given Lofts & Southby were both defenders) unless he wants to keep Robert Walls' number. Maybe AB should be given 7 as he is an in & under player like Ratts was & a superb tackler like Ratts.

This is how I think the numbers should be given out:

4 - Gibbs
7 - Pick 17
11 - Pick 19
16 - Bentick (Better than 40)
20 - Carrazzo (Better than 44)
22 - Flint (Better than 42)
21 - Jackson (Better than 38)
28 - Ackland
36 - Pick 36

There always seems to be a few surprises when numbers are given out. I doubt this year will be any different.

Maybe Gibbs to get No.4, but that would just about be the only one we can predict with any certainty I would say.

I sort of remember a little Italian looking bloke running around in this number in the mid to late nineties and early 2 thousands but was under the impression he died in a nasty lawn mower accident a year or so ago.
