RFC_Official: So gentlemen, there is the Richmond FC proposition on our projector now. We hope to maximise our increase in marketing revenue by partnering with KooGa and creating innovative apparel that supporters can feel comfortable spending their money on, we didn't just want our new apparel wear to just be rebranded with our new sponsors, we wanted something fresh for our sponsors, any questions?

MadTiger: We can maximise our marketing revenue by playing 11 home games at the MCG and draw 50,000 a week.

Question: Why dont we capitalise on our Location at Punt road and have a better social club that can cater for pre and post game functions, also allowing non-members from other clubs the chance to have a feed and drink before any game at the "G". I'd call it the "THE DEN" and have social DEN membership that could be added as a option on membership for a discounted price, but available to the general public for something like $20 dollars a year.

Seems we have the best location for a social club in Melbourne but dont utilise it. I'm no fan of pokies but I'd be happy to watch some bomber or Carlton or hawk or....etc etc... blow their hard earned in our pokie machines and buy our beer and eat our pies before or after the game. Surely a 7 days a week club like this would turn over a few pennies over the course of a year..... or is there strict council rules preventing such an idea?..... if so lets get on the council and change the rules.

Would be a great venue that would definitely attract people who are new to AFL to our club based just on these facilities.

If someone who is going likes this Idea I'm happy for them to use as their own and add some bits if they want... eg... jumping castle for the kids......

I'd be aiming more for the family orientated as opposed to the crowd that visits the royal.

Also I would be allowing Buses from interstate or country areas car parking space right out front....

I remember the old Social club was open on a Friday night (even if we werent playing) used to drink extremely heavily back then. Woke up a couple of times under a tree in the park around the G

Hey guys we're full up. We have a few guys from Big Footy, Twitter, Punt Road End and a few non techy guys as well, a good group I think.

Re: Social club, new Punt Rd will have a facility to host functions exactly like you've described. We only dont have one now, because we knocked the old one down to build a new one.

I would be so down for what nut has said. I think it was Rich v Hawks in 09 and there was some function at Punt Rd for the beginning of the redevelopment. Had never been in anything other than the Tiger Den before, so was awesome to hang out grab a snag and line up to meet Richo before the game, even if he bailed before it was my turn
