This is the most excited i have been when it comes to who we have picked up in the draft. I think we may have hit the jackpot with the four players we picked up this year.

Bower does look like a big unit but I like the size of Jake Edwards and Josh Kennedy also. They all look very tall but also seem as though they've spent plenty of time in the gym. A big pre-season and the fab-four could all get a go in the seniors at some stage during the season. Would like to see Bower and Murphy in round I along with McLaren, Saddington and S.O'hAilpin. That's a big team! Kennedy needs some time but hopefully towards the middle/late part of the season he and Edwards sneek in for a few. Let's not forget Hartlett and Raso!!!

What would be even better is if we could see these blokes dominating at Optus Oval like we have seen so many greats in the 100 years passed.

Yeah, I can just imagine Kennedy taking a big pack mark in the social club pocket and calmly going back and slotting it from 50.

Absolute monster of a kid at just 19 years of age and the Go-T just accentuates his appearance.Great to finally have an influx of genuinely big KPP.:thumbsu:

looks like the 2006 premiership is in the bag
Pre season or home and away?

Because we have the important task of defending the pre-season cup which will take something special. If it could be done, it would go down as one of the great moments.

Repeating the pre-season premiership would be one of the great moments???????

If it was a particularly good game, it might rank as one of the top 1000 moments experienced by the Carlton football club... Might...

I know its been a lean few years, but come on. Its the Wizard cup!

Im not sure who tht is in the photo. Can anyone tell me if the new recruits look sharp at training or will we need to wait a while before we can expect to see them play.I also read that Bower is a pretty good fullback, very hard to beat one on one.Has anyone seen this.It looks like we have done really well with our picks I am over the moon.So glad we went for key position as thats what really needed
