no doubt, only qualm was the third quarter where we slacked off a bit. that probablly cost us the big 200 in the end.

but all in all, and awesome effort by the boys to have 47 scoring shots and i look forward to next weeks top of the table clash against the power.

Yeah a little bit dissapointing that we had a bit of a rest in the third but who cares???
Yeah very exciting...our forward line worked well tonight....good to see Fido back with 6 and Embers was absolutely brilliant with 5 (whatever woosha said to him, it worked and it worked well, dont think he's played a real bad game all season!)
Onto Aami Stadium.....where we take on Port and see just how good we really are......

Was gonna go into the city to watch the game on Fox Footy, but a busy day at work meant i got out over 3hrs later than I planned to :( Would have liked to see us pump them like that.

yeah, you missed a treat. 105 by half time was the best running footy i have seen by us in a while. two 8-goal quarters was a pretty special start.

well done eagles, lets hope we can carry that momentum into next weeks tough game against the power. hopefully we can pull off an upset and jump clear on top of the ladder.

Yeah...we'll know alot more about OUR boys next sunday night I think. Lets just wait and see.............peronally I think......

We can do it, if we put our backs into it!

And how SWEET it is when the win is in the tune of a 116-POINT THUMPING! :D

Yeah for sure! I cant wipe the grin of my face! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

How sweet it is to be in love with the Eagles atm!!!

WE HAVE ARRIVED...........

The murky past is behind us, the years and team of 2000-2001 is behind us and the premiership may be upon us if we keep our nose at the game........

We're taking it one week at a time remember? :D

OK OK...enough excitement for me tonight!!!
Alright lets just take it one week at a time....all I can say is we'll know JUST how good we are at the end of next week! A VERY tough game, but we can do it if we work hard!

Quiet you! I got the eagles/doggies for the high/low double at 30-1, so I need to doggies to score <49 pts to collect $450!

Go the Power!! (if the winds are anything like yesterday, it will be one low scoring game, rain is spitting down every now and again, I'm hoping its pouring by tomorrow).

CARN THE DOGGIES!!!!!!!!! :D

No! I want Port to win. Would rather play them after a win than play them all fired up after losing to the last placed team.

On our victory, just too good. All over the ground, just too good. A truly enjoyable moment after having to sit through the Carlton loss two years ago under Judge. It took the truest of WC supporter to sit through that final year under Judge, and look at whats at the end of the rainbow!

CARN WEST COAST!

To be honest, we were very lucky to have Judge and injuries. It meant that our side seriously underperformed for a year or two and allowed us to get Judd, Kerr, Mcdougall.
Remember most of the players out there now were there with Malthouse and Judge.
Embley, Cousins, Fletcher, Gardiner, Jones, Wooden, Matera, Braun, Banfield, Jako, Mcintosh, Wirrapunda, Morrison, Read, Wooden.

Plus all his Mr Fix-it/duds have been weeded out with not too much problems. I think Carroll is the last one hanging on.

very happy with this win, especially considering i know lotsa carlton supporters. hehe.

unfortunately i only about half of the last quarter on radio. i don't own fox footy and no live tv/radio other than the second half of the last quarter. but its good. we won

and, im a bit behind here but what happened to the chris judd board??

That is one point to look at i give you that. But also another, and perhaps more important is that if we lose next week now that Port have beaten the Doggies, we face the prospect of dropping to 5th on the ladder and 6 points off the top.

After such a high, lets hope we don't give a flat display next week and turn out giving Port a real run for their money.
