That makes it 3 forwards (Rioli, Thomas and Wellingham) now all out injured for who knows how long. No luck lately.

It will be two in a row below 1000 now and probably a second loss. I had to delist Stanley to keep an extra forward, another big loss.

Traded in Thomas last week now out.

My team started well but I don't think i'm in the lead in terms of best team. I think Kristof team is by far the best team in this league in my opinion. I'd rate mine and hdecure about equal.

Bacon8 also has a very good team.
 
Thanks - I'll take the compliment, though I regret trading Hanley and I'm struggling to keep a team on the park.
 
Bacon8 I noticed you are looking to trade Birchall. Would you trade for any of Barlow/Swallow/J.Selwood. Also wondering if you would consider trading Robinson for any of the players just mentioned.

I posted this about your trade Danoz and I'd like some clarity as a week later you drop both Cooney and Bolton. Your response was this.

The trade was not discussed in the forum and from the outset looked uneven. If I was ranking the players 1-4 Boyd and Robinson would have been 1 & 2. Either you know Bacon8 and you just traded, you are Bacon8 :p, or it was just a trade gone wrong, for which I mean no disrespect. I'm just perplexed by it?
 
I don't know Danoz. He had those players available on the Trade List and I made an offer. He had down talked Boyd, saying he was past it, and Cooney had been playing well. I can only assume Danoz thought Cooney was an upgrade on Boyd, so the downgrade of Robinson to Bolton was okay.

Which is how I saw it (based on form).

Yep that's it. In hindsight, I should've attempted to get someone better for Boyd, especially considering he was still the worst of my mids. But neither Boyd nor Robinson will have been on my field for much longer.

Certainly wasn't an attempt to make Bacon8 stronger.

Nothing sinister was meant by my comments just genuinely intrigued. :) I just rate Robinson and Boyd very highly and am considering them both in regular DT! Both were also rated highly preseason going 5 and 25!

Yep, but there are cheaper, heavier scoring mids than Boyd, and Robbo has been downright useless. One 100 I think, and an average just over 70.

I'm a Robinson fan so this has nothing to do with your trade. He was concussed in Round 1 with 21 which put his average down. From round 2-8 he averaged 83.85. Carlton had a hard draw to start the year so his scores were always going to be slightly lower. He has scored 99, 83 & 97 in his last 3. I just rate him highly.
