Flight out of Sri Lanka is 2:45pm (7:45pm CST) tomorrow, transit in Singapore for an hour, then land in Melbourne at about 8:30am Friday. Arrive in Adelaide at 12pm that day I think.

Had two very good weeks here. Two semi final finishes in the singles, and made the doubles final at the SSC open.

Sorry for causing a delay in the comp folks, but I really can't justify buying a 24 hour wifi package at $10 a pop to make 1 pick in a fantasy football comp. I'm usually at the courts at about 8am, and don't get back to the hotel until at least 5pm, sometimes even later.

Oh, and I took Duffield with my last pick. Like his numbers without Broughton in the dockers lineup.

You bastard...........I was deciding between two players and finally decided on him before I went to bed last night...........

Plan B...Bunga Hurn from WCE.

Pearce Hanley for me.

Yeah, we've probably all only got two or three names left on our lists for the remaining spots, so it'll be tight!

C'mon VanR88 ...

Finish my back with Corey Enright.

I find it funny after I say I'll be picking at 11 and considering I've been one of the quickest to pick I'm being told to ...c'mon! Interesting picks now. Looking through the last ten I've only entertained the idea of 2 players selected before my last pick(s). I guess now is the time when there game really opens up and it's hard to predict.

I'm interested which 2 players? I would guess Enright, who else?

Yes I strongly considered Enright at my last double pick. As there was a rush on defenders in the last round and the quality of proven Premiums is now almost finished. I still believe there are up to 11 players capable of scoring 75 points per game in defence. Enright is older and has been on the decline, with an average drop or around 11 last year to 80ish.

The two I considered were Suckling who has been linked with a move higher onto a wing so the Hawks can utilise his kicking power into the forward 50, thus being a real user (Marks/Kicks) of the ball and Duffield who last week looked in good shape and was taking kick-ins, including some to himself. At his best could potentially average 85 plus points a game.

Barlow I think again was to good to pass up at my pick and now with another year of strength and confidence back in his leg he has the capabilities to be a high DT scorer. I'd most likely have selected him at my last pick if Stanton was not on the board.

LOL - sorry Van!

Just eager to pick ...

I've been burnt by Duffield, so no for me, Suckling slipped my radar, but don't think he would've been up there anyway. Barlow was not above any of the guys I selected in the mid. Pretty happy with my mid starters actually. I have a couple extra on the radar for the bench though.

Was keen on Suckling. He did me well last year after getting him way down the draft. Just wasnt willing to pick him that high and thought Hartlett was the better option at that point.

I think the midfield is always a contentious area that causes great debate. I like Barlow because he is consistent. Last season he scored 100+ in 13 of his last 17 games with a low of 80 (including two finals games). I think towards the end of the season he looked in good form and from all reports early this season, including the Crows game on the weekend he was in good form.

HAHA, It's hard to express emotion on a forum. I did not take it personally :) I honestly found it funny now we are well into the draft we're ALL very eager to get it moving. I know what it is like when you are close to getting your pick. :)
