Danoz This league has Auto-Emergency "On." Thus I do not need cover for positions, just the round, and I have 10 eligible players each round.

Hmm I guess your right, I picked my team to have quality bench cover for all positions. Guess the thought of floating bench just slipped my mindtowards the end.

Same here, probably should have read the rules a bit clearer! Having cover is useless then really? VanR88

I'm going to respond to a few of your comments. Just my own justifications for why i picked players.

Swan will be double points because of Captain status.

O'Keefe averaged 105.44 ppg from round 5-23. He also scored 140, 154 and 140 at an ave of 144.66 ppg. during Finals.

Mackie averaged 90.25 over his last 8 games in 2012. Rivers has been brought into replace Scarlett.

Barlow played every game last season. 24 games in total. I think playing a full season would indicate he is confident in his leg. He was the starting Sub in the first two games last season with scores of 52 and 67. After this from round 3 to the semi final he averaged 100.5

Rioli, removing the 3 games he was sub effected, he averaged 89.41 points per game over 17 games.

Adams average 84.1 in 2011 and carried a shoulder injury for most of 2012. I'd expect him to average around 80 this season. Especially with Harvey out in that half forward role at the start of the season.

Agree, Karnezis was a risk/reward pick. Proven ball winner in NEAFL averaging 28 touches in 14 games.

Auto-Emergencies means no 0's for byes (Floating Bench) injuries permitting of course.

Hibberd I don't expect to play in the midfield. He will play down back, but is a brilliant reader of the play and one of the best intercept marks in the Bombers side. I'd expect around an 80 average.

I'm keeping cover because if you have a general injury it is still your lowest scoring bench players score. Plus I don't feel write about manipulating the rules every week.

Technically you could have 2 high scoring mids on your bench and the other 3 zero's and if you have a late withdrawal injury you'd score high.

As i posted above, your only permitted one auto emergency per round.

Thus, positional cover is still important, mainly through the byes.

So with your team for example (in round 13) this is what you'd have to do.

You still have two round 13 bye players on in your defence, with one auto emergency in place. So you'll cop one donut that round (if you still have the same players, which is highly unlikely :D).

Hate that they are incredibly vague about their rules, then you find out when the draft is over how they actually interpret those rules.

I'm not overly fussed, it was more luck then a plan my team ended up the way it did. Everyone will be getting 0's in those rounds. It's only 3 games in an 18 game season and should not dictate your whole strategy.

Am I right in thinking you can only offer 1 for 1 trades in this game?
This trade system is horrhendous. Worst I've ever seen. You can't even go anywhere and look at what the other teams have on their list. How are you supposed to see their weaknesses/strengths to tailor your offers to suit what they need if you don't know who they have?
