Pretty unlucky to lose with a 1049, I had to pull off a super score to get the win.

Looking forward to playing around with my team. Two weeks in a row I've made the wrong decision with Buddy. Duncan, Ziebell, Stanton, Wingard fighting for two of my 3 spots.

I brought in Ward, knowing you'd dropped him 2(?) weeks ago, and he repaid my faith :)

I blame Mackie & Gunston :(

When reviewing my own draft I'd summarise the following considering where they were rated before the season and when I took them. I was definitely more willing to draft roughies then some others and take a punt on players well before their expected draft position.
HIT: Above expectation for draft position or expectation; PAR: Met expectation for Pick; MISS: Failed to meet expectations.

HIT: Dyson Heppell (20), Michael Barlow (61), Andrew Mackie (80), Ryan O'Keefe (81), Todd Goldstein (100), Michael Hibberd (101), Matthew Leuenberger (121)
PAR: Dane Swan (1), Heat Shaw (40) & Brent Stanton (41)
MISS: Dayne Zorko (21), Cyril Rioli (60), Andrew Gaff (120), Leigh Adams (140) & Patrick Karnezis (141)

Reviewing my draft I definitely struggled to draft forwards. I had a few 50/50's at the time that I got wrong. Stupidly passed on Stevie J for Zorko due to preseason form and the suspension. I also made a poor 50/50 call on Rioli and N.Riewoldt as I wondered whether age and a poor St.Kilda side would reduce his scoring.

I also was very keen on Dustin Martin pre-draft and considered him at the Zorko/Johnson pick. Tried in vain to get a trade for him almost immediately from Kristof. :) I would have taken him at Pick 40 if Kristof had not taken him at 39.

Other players I had an interest in but did not quite fit into my structure was a 50/50 between Andrew Gaff and Jack Steven. Also Would have taken Kreuzer over Leuenberger if he was at my pick.

I was surprised at the quality of ruckman available late in the draft and arguably drafted 2 or the top 5 ruckman with late picks. With my poor forward drafting I was forced to trade some players i'd rather have kept and forced me to target a Forward/Ruck player. My forward line is still the biggest weakness by far of my team.

I've got Selwood on my bench, I'd be upset with that at the moment. Though he might stay on the bench next week as well.

I'd be interested, though I'd like to discuss format and type of game (real DT draft/SC Draft/Fantasy elite).

Nah I'm out. I think its an absolutely shocking format.

UltimateFooty is about 200x better and you could still have that same style league with 3 backs 4 mids 1 ruck and 3 forwards.

Sorry guys, I'm sure you wont miss me anyway as I became inactive in the latter half of the year anyways.

ULTIMATE FOOTY!
I'm telling you its soooo much better. Look into it.

Also if the league manager gets the premium package (happy to chip in a few bucks - I think its like $50 for the season) you can completely customise your league.
 
Was speaking about this on another thread, I'm pretty keen to participate or even run and Ultimate Footy league this year if people want to play. For the laser 2 years we have had a league of 10 with 6 defenders, 8 mids, 2 rucks and 6 forwards and it works perfectly to be honest.
If you wanted to bump it up to a 12 player league a player from each position can be dropped and if you want to play 16 then more again etc etc. But I find 8-12 works best and is easiest.

Also DT scoring format is easier for ultimate footy also, but I'm happy to play SC if that's what majority want.

I'm definitely in, just not sure on game format yet.

Fantasy elite last on the list though. Would prefer to stick with a Virtual Sports product (Real DT draft/SC Draft) or Ultimate footy. I'm happy with any of these 3.

We should have enough for 10 competitors again. It's one of the more enjoyable games I've played, especially the draft part of the game.

On the draft, last time we unlimited time between picks, which was just a disaster.

I really like the fast paced nature of the live draft. Would require some quick thinking, and you can get through in a couple of hours, instead of the 2-3 weeks it took last year!!!

If we don't go with the live draft, we have to put a limit on time though. Maybe 3 hours???
