Don't think I'll be starting with Ibra.

I can make a team that I'm happy with with him in it, but an Ibra-less team looks far more balanced and safer. I don't think he's the be all end all, at least not initially. Lukaku, Kane, Vardy, Costa could all very well match Ibra in the first few weeks - they are proven FPL commodities. I always wildcard within the first month so really only look at the first few weeks when picking my team, and from this view I don't see Ibra as essential. Aguero is basically a perma-capt so spending another 11.5 on a guy I probably won't captain that often initially seems a waste.

If he looks good in the Community Sheild I may start with him, but I think Lukaku and Costa are better value for money.

im hoping at a better club he may be able to be involvred in a few more goals? is he a certain first XI player?

Firminho my preferred Liverpool mid, he'll play the false 9 and looked so dangerous last year. Klopp loves rotation as well but I feel Firm is the safest from this. Think i'll take one of Alli/Eriksen instead though, at least for the first few GW's.

Fabregas a no from me, i'm taking a wait and see approach with Chelsea players.

Starting with both Mandanda & Hennessy, really not sure who's going to start no.1. so this solves the dilemma somewhat.

I'm mostly going off who lined up last night in the Community Shield. He fielded our strongest team and had King in ahead of Mendy. Possible to change of course, it's just my suspicions.

I think the first priority will be given to King for the start. In fact, I dare say it will be the 15/16 team (-Kante -Huth +King +Hernandez) that will line up for the first 45. I predict that Musa and Mendy will come on later and win their spots. If Mendy proves himself to be more of the Kante mould, I can see him start as soon as MD3.

If you're willing to hold onto Mendy until he becomes a regular, you could be in business, especially if he impresses with his early sub appearances.
