I used to be a gun at this.

Started in 2004 and every single season I'd have a good team, finishing top 5 in massive leagues.

Last season I thought my starting team was the grouse, but I got flogged pretty much all season.

This season I'm seriously battling to get a starting 11 that I have confidence in, it's going to be a long season for me.

Can't wait til the first few weeks of games are done so it's easier to sus out which players are going to fire and play in certain positions and whatnot.

Alright, finally got around to making a team after a good last season. Although not that happy with it, not sure which direction to take. I've gotten too caught up in the plethora of big mid options and lack of mid-priced mid options.

Shaw - Stones - Friend - McCauley (Amat)
Hazard - Payet - Pogba (???*) - Deulofeu (Mendy)
Aguero - Vardy (4.5)

*will change but I'm hanging onto gw1 starting hope

Too many big guys I think, needs refining. Would like Gray as my F3 as well, so I'll have to play around.
EDIT: Originally was playing around with Enner Valencia at 5.5 but haven't seen much of him anywhere, is he not first team anymore??

Fair enough, I'll bring him in for van Aanholt then, and leave 1.0 sitting in the bank. Could go Valdes to Butland but might do that a bit later on if Valdes is struggling, since Butland has a rocky start anyway.

Soton fans seem to rate him pretty well and think he'll start consistently.

Hojbjerg is better than all of those you mentioned. He wouldn't have gone to Southampton without guaranteed first team football either.

Not nailed, had a great pre-season, will likely start cup games and will float in and out of the prem league team when players need a rest towards middle-end of season. Our midfield is too packed out to accommodate him.
