Lukaku captain. Payet. Pickford. Deeney. Rest were pretty average I think. Someone got a clean sheet out of my three defenders too. Holebas?

Nah he got an assist though. Very, very nice. Captaining Mane backfired on me.

Help please. Not sure what trades to make (want Rondon out). Got 0.3 currently in the bank.

I'd get rid of Collins and Rondon in that case. Maybe someone like Hernandez (ours) for Rondon since our run gets so easy now, and Walker for Collins if you can afford it?

I can't quite squeeze Walker in (0.6 difference).

Having said that, thoughts on Diomande instead of Hernandez? Got 18 points compared to 20 for Hernandez so far?

If not, can get Stuani I guess.

Diomande won't keep starting, he's on the verge of being dropped I would think.

Stuani is good, I have him.

You don't think that 3rd forward spot is a bit weak?

Nope? That's literally my front three.
Fair enough. I always want to play 3 attackers but just don't think Stuani would get it done regularly enough. Now watch him go on a 5 game scoring run.

Ended up going Morgan and Wilson instead.

I do feel like it's a poor year for strikers.

Don't see why you need to start three attackers unless you have aguero, lukaku and costa. Mids get more for scoring so surely more motivation to beef them up?

Forwards are more likely to score though. I run a 343 each week and normally leave the midfielder with the worst fixture as my first bench replacement.

Are they? Like I said, unless that's your front three they really aren't. Sterling, sanchez, Antonio, Capoue and Mane would be a pretty good midfield and they're all in good form.

Yep. I mean in a game of football, you'd back the striker to score over the midfielder. Every bookmaker does etc etc.

No doubt those players are good - but they all have different fixtures each week. Sterling comes up against a decent Everton side this week - is he more likely to score than Wilson who have Hull at home?

Also, Antonio has actually gone down in price this week. Seemingly everyone is hopping off the West Ham bandwagon.

I'd back sanchez to score over rondon. We're not comparing mids and strikers from the same team. Dare I remind you sanchez is actually playing as a striker at the moment?

Add to that the fact forwards get a point less for scoring.

On sterling and Antonio, I'd definitely back sterling to score. It'd be mental not to start a man city attacking player at the moment. On Antonio, don't know why people are jumping off when he and payet are scoring in losing teams and their fixtures are incredibly soft.

I'm comparing mids and strikers in general. Forgetting specific players, a striker is more likely to score than a midfielder.

Valid. But that's due to the likelihood of them scoring is less - the same reason defenders get a point more than a midfielder etc.

Oh I'm starting Sterling. And Antonio for that matter. But West Ham are in terrible form and their fixture will get harder very quickly:

But that's a silly point which has nothing to do with fantasy, where you can pick your specific players. If I have stuani as a striker and sanchez as a mid, I'll start sanchez. Just because stuani is a striker means nothing.

So West ham have four more easy games? That's a whole month. Plenty of time to reassess after that.

It's not a silly point at all. It's why I always play with 3 strikers rather than 2. Because the chances of a striker scoring is higher.

Again, I'd prefer Wilson to score against Hull than Capoue to score against Boro this week.

It's why I don't like having a weaker 3rd striker tbh.

Lol ok mate. You asked for advice.

I don't know why you asked about diomande then.

Was when I was thinking about putting Walker in.

I did. Just because we have different methods doesn't mean I don't appreciate the advice.

For the record, I currently have 4 more points than you this season - I think it's fair to say both systems are working adequately thus far.
