That's actually the other point in Bernardo's favour, that he's currently playing centrally but can also be an option out wide. Could mean he either starts central with KdB with Fernandinho behind them, OR on the wing as a rotation for Sterling (Bernardo is a right sided forward?) and only rarely out of the team himself.

Guess we'll see how it plays out.

David Silva wasn't even on the bench though which was a bit odd if he's still Best XI.

I don't think David Silva is in their Best XI anymore, unless you mean Bernardo Silva.

Pep was absolutely purring about his pre-season and his value to the team, I honestly think he's Best XI now with D. Silva, Gundogan and one of Sane/Mahrez/Sterling being the depth.

David Silva still is absolutely IMO.

Bit the bullet on Cesc after the price drop. Traded down to Jorginho who is a lock to play under sarri if fit. I’ll upgrade with the 1.9 I’ve got in the bank next week. Should be able to either move on Mahrez to KDB or Cairney to Richarlison/Jota

Jorginho and Neves play really deep don't they? One goal and everyone jumps on. I know they start every week but it's the same with Kante, attacking returns will be rare.

In a midfield 3 of Kante & Cesc/Barkley/RLC hell do ok. I’d rather rely on a guaranteed top 6 starter at midfielder number 5. It’s the lazy choice because I don’t think I’ll keep up to date enough to follow this season

Stuffed up in goal picking a non playing Guaita.
Decided to spend up on premium goalie, and downgrade Sane to pay for that. Probably reactionary but gives me a bit in the bank for future weeks.
Happy to take the -4 for this week.

Given their fixtures, releasing Sane and grabbing Ederson makes sense.
