Doubt it.
How come?

Ownership trends is the biggest key to price changes in this game, not form

Out for 3 games, I'd imagine many will jump off him and look for someone who will make money

If his price won't drop now, it will in the upcoming weeks

Who are people bringing in for him? He's 4.1 (read: 4.0) so either people are investing into him to bump him up, or they ride him out. The entire appeal of him is that he's a bottom pricer. Why put .5 on him to turn him into Schlupp?

Looks like he is only going to miss one.

Really? Brilliant.

saying he returns Sep 1. He was the last defender, he didn't do anything untoward IMO. So one seems right.

Thought straight red was definitely 3? I guess they have league cup so that might be why.

found this, thinking he falls under the first one. Full link: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/2332...d-card-how-many-yellows-before-hes-suspended/

How many matches does a player miss after a red card?
If a player is sent off for a professional foul (eg holding an opponent back when they're through on goal) or a second bookable offence they will be handed a one-match ban.

In the World Cup 2018, a red card will result in a one game ban for the player.

Straight red cards for dissent will result in a two match ban, while dangerous tackles or violent conduct will result in a three-match ban which can be raised to four or more games in extreme cases.

Good stuff.

80 but it feels like a bit of waste given Aguero. Eriksen instead of Mane looking really costly now but think I've missed the boat. Arsenal asset on the cards for next week and King will stay for one more; reckon he will get some returns at home to Everton.

77 with Mendy captain, what could have been. Also lost 45k spots, tough crowd. Played AWB too.

No defence coverage this week if Peltier isn't named but happy with my starting 11/12.

not sure at this point, more trying to keep options open.
trying to stay fixture focussed... so Aubameyang might be on the cards if he starts to get amongst it

Fair enough, I usually don't like cash just sitting in the bank, not growing value.

I'm not great at assessing good value with my limited interest, I'm generally best served by sticking to the fixtures and getting my fill of the bigger teams that generally hit the scoreboard. gotta know and play to my limitations i guess.

I'll have a look, thanks... I mostly get my whispers and so from fantasy football scout.

Prices update around 11am AEST each day I believe, so I always have a bit of a look in the morning after games to get a sense of how my players are looking. It's what prompted me to drop Hudson-Odoi on Sunday earlier than I otherwise would have, to avoid his price drop.

Violent conduct

I've been using this the past couple of years, got a bit slack not checking it every day but this season I will be. Six of my players are currently in the top 10 in terms of who is next to rise and my TV is at 100.7 already. I noticed at the end of last season my TV was pretty garbage so I think trading early this season is what I'll be doing, different to previous seasons where I've waited until team news is out by Friday/Saturday.

There's definitely something to be said for boosting your value, but then keep in mind that you can only recoup half of that when you trade, so there's something illusory about TV all the same. For example, if I'd held Sterling all season last year, my TV would have been huge just off the back of his price rises.. but does that actually mean I have more cash to spend? Sure, if I sell him, but then I only get half of it. Having it as an unrealised gain is actually more valuable.

Another example this season is Richarlison, about to go up again for an all up 0.3 rise over the first two weeks. Is it more valuable keeping him and the 0.3 value in my team, or in a few weeks do I move him on to a Fraser type? Lose some of that value but maybe it's a stepping stone to keep moving the value up 0.2 (or 0.1 to my actual value) at a time.

I think last season I chased price rises a bit too much and it didn't actually help a whole lot in the long run. Keeping well performing players and being mindful of players dropping value seems a better strategy this time around.
