Fantasy footy (not DT) help

I'm in a fantasy league, 16 teams, player selections determined by a draft. Draft order is random than snaked after the first round. Once a player is drafted he is on that team and cannot be chosen by another. The draft is auto, meaning it is based on the contingency list of each team. There are no player prices and value is determined purely on the amount of points the player will get for your team each week. Position eligibility is also important as you can move a player week by week. Naturally, there are more high scoring Cs and Fs than Rucks and Bs so players with the latter two eligibilities are pretty valuable. Scoring is the same as for DT.

Anyway, I would really appreciate some feedback on who everyone thinks are the top 20 players for the upcoming year? I.e. purely performance based.

Lots of tactics involved. If someone grabs Cox at say 3 it may be smart to grab Jeff White and get the guy below you to grab Sandilands this will almost force a run of Rucks to be selected as there is a big drop off in the quality after the first 5. I would definatley hate to be left with Minson or Acklands as my first ruck option. Definatley make a deal with a couple of drafter below you to cause this. It will screw those below you and give you more options next round.


As far as Utilities you should have at least 1 forward, 1 midfeild, 1 back capable of playing a different position. Therefore guys like C.Cornes (Back & Forward) and B.Ottens (Ruck & Forward) should go at a slight premium to their value. If you are hit by injuries you are in trouble without these.
