Fantasy Freako e-letter

tbh this kinda takes the fun out of dt.

everybody is gonna have the same bolter's now.

I think it still takes a lot to see bolters and such.

Many players will play horrible in NAB and still dominate.

I was quite annoyed though, as lots of the 'selected' players I had/have.

Im going away soon and need to see it!

Anyway anybody can give a link to it or give me an urgent rundown on it?

 A lot of personal research and it is aired to everyone just like that... I seriously did not get one new name from that e-mail but now lots of people will get those names that have taken a lot of work to find... on the positives I have one or two that went unmentioned

i dont no wat the problem is
i dont think everyone will have the same rookies,
ive got a list atm for rookie spots and it has 13backmen, 12 forwards and 19 centres, i mean from that squad i am sure it will account for 80/85% of ppl bench spots but there isnt nething special in there that will really help all that much other then then nab challenge scores, but for those to have ne meaning u need to no their t.o.g and wat the coach was aiming they would do, which unless u went to the game u dont no

There are going to be 250,000 people with the same team.

This is said every year. Most people acknowledge this and try to add some uniqueness to their lineup. For example last year I decided to add Dom Cassisi to my team, which proved a very beneficial move. Less than 3000 teams had him initially and the figure didn't rise significantly at all as the season progressed; even when he was netting me a fairly handy profit.

I reckon only a small portion of the people that play AFL dream team would get this E-letter. We still have an edge over most people and still have tough decisions to make on who to select eg. rookie mids could be out of Muston, Ebert, S.Selwood, Palmer, Morton and plenty more.

Last year I had Scotland in my team and as captain.

He finished in the top 10 scorers, and less then 2000 people had him.

Bit pricey this year though.

That's the one, and of those, how many people are going to follow the research though?

For example, one of those players mentioned, I hear, is doing his 12 year at school this year.

Much like Ellis did in 2006.

So if that's true, it would make him a terrible pick-up, even though his NAB scores have been GREAT!. :)

the way i see it is that neone who has the e-letter would've more then likely gotten it through this. this is my first season on bigfooty and me and my mates are fairly competitive and i know none of them use bigfooty at all and neone who does it already a fairly good DTer and i'd imagine good at supercoach as well (never played supercoach). neone who doesnt do the research we do have a good chance of guessing wat we've researched and picking the same player, but then again no one who hasnt done research would have about 18names for cheap young centres, only the most talked about, eg muston and bird etc

It's becoming easier by the year for people to put together a top team full of bolters, without even needing to watch a pre-season game purely thru internet research.

This year more than ever.

It does suck, but there's no stopping it - a by-product of how much fantasy afl has exploded the last couple of years.

People say this every year but when it comes to trades, it kills the weak DT players. I wouldn't worry too much, there are plenty of variables to seperate the good from the bad.

those claiming the e-letter doesn't make it easier for people to pick bolters are being rediculous.

thinking back to last year and what players would've been noticed i reckon everybody would've got someone like hamish mcintosh. he played all their pre-season games and was doing well people may have been keeping an eye on his stats but still there was no pdf with his price rise and such being shown and all the attention being drawn to him.

imo this email just takes the fun out of spotting talent in the preseason.

its very helpful but I dont expect it to make a HUGE difference.

All those who are crying will be fine, if you have researched you will still have upper hand on those who havnt.

pre-season counts for very little - its a completely different kind of pressure in the regular season
