I'm not saying study is of no value.

I'm saying using playing averages from two to three games in a pre season competition, extrapolating a team score and believing it means anything whatsoever is of no value.

The bloke who won last year studied alright but not like that

IMO, dont read 2 much into pre season, coaches play players in different postions then wat they would normally, like Medhurst

Was interviewed on the Young Guns show on afl.com.au and they were saying he was a stat machine, but he doesnt believe he will be picked round 1 and will start in the ressies, more than likely being modest.

Pretty sure he will be named come round 1, if so will def be on my bench.

If you look at his stats, the 'Actual Value' is in DT dollars whereas the 'NAB Worth' is in SC dollars. It's a huge oversight, meaning that a player performing well appears to have a much higher value that they actually have.

Actually, if you look at the bottom of the page, the values are higher because they have adjusted for the fact that NAB Cup games are shorter. They aren't SC prices at all.

They did an installment consisting of stats from the first 2 NAB Cup/Challenge rounds. Then they updated it after Round 3. I expect the latest one to come out this week.
