I felt the same way. I mean I thought the game was very enjoyable but I enjoyed 2 more.

Agreed, it's not a bad game. Shooting mechanics are pretty good, and stealth can be fun. But nothing is grabbing me with it, finding the story a bit meh.

Agreed, it's not a bad game. Shooting mechanics are pretty good, and stealth can be fun. But nothing is grabbing me with it, finding the story a bit meh.

Do as much as you can using the bow only, very fun.

Likely gave itself the award. I was pumped for it and stopped playing after 1hr it was so bad.

wow, that's disappointing to hear. I just checked on Metacritic and it is getting 88-91% depending on the console.

Was also pumped for this - loved Deus Ex and thought this would be similar in style.

You might like it. I just couldn't get into it. But I can categorically say that Far Cry 3 was a much much better game

Fair enough - my room mate played Far Cry 3 end of 2012 I think and he loved it, said it was his favourite game of the year. He played dishonoured afterwards and while he still enjoyed it, I think he definitely preferred FC3.

Received some amazing reviews but I was so let down by it. I was initially so pumped for it as well.

Maybe at some point I will give it another go. Wasn't a fan of the graphics as well. Put me off.

Overall, a very good game but I certainly wasnt blown away.

• Catered for lots of different styles (Hunting, stealth, QTE, Bruce Willis)

• The side missions were terrible.

• It's difficult to explain why, but the island felt dead at times. Yeah there were the outposts, the animals but compared to other sandboxs (GTA, RDR, Fallout even Deus Ex) it felt bland at times. At times the world just didnt feel exciting. More factions needed? Defs needed greater variety of weather
• Some weapons made me overpowered (silenced sniper, shotguns)
• Less than halfway in, animal skinning and selling items became pointless as I'd maxed out everything.
• Similarly by the 3/4 of the way through, Id got every skill. To me this defeats the point of playing a certain way (stealthy, assault, long range, short range etc)

Overall, 7.5/10

Seems that very soon there will be some story DLC incoming. Named 'Blood Dragon'.

If true, by what's stated in the achievements, I'll be grabbing this.

Earlier this month, a leaked Xbox Live Arcade logo suggested Far Cry 3 was getting some sort of standalone game titled "Blood Dragon." Today a list of achievements, via Exophase, has been uncovered, continuing to build confirmation that Blood Dragon does in fact exist.

Blood Dragon's achievements reveal a few key things - including the fact that, yes, you'll be battling dragons. Other points are earned by rescuing hostages, hunting animals, unlocking weapons attachments and finding VHS tapes. Nothing in the listing references any characters or settings within Far Cry 3, reinforcing the fact that despite sharing a name, Blood Dragon appears to have nothing to do with Rook Island or its inhabitants.
