From the very minor look I had (not wanting to spoil this), it looks incredible! From the VHS overlay on the loading screens, to the hilarious dialogue to the great visual aesthetic, it just nails exactly what it's trying to do.

Could be the best DLC ever!!

Does remind me that I'll attempt the rest of the multiplayer maps so I can get platinum before TLOU comes out.

I think you're looking at it the wrong way.

This is just a balls out crazy expansion that takes every cliche from the 80's, mashes it into one piece of DLC and says enjoy and have fun with a game for once and don't give a shit about morals, deep and engaging stories or even a point to anything. Just empty your mind, point your gun and shoot some shit up!

This on the other hand looks awesome. That it contains a new large game-world in itself, is a stand-alone and only costs $18 is really positive stuff from Ubisoft. Now if only they would drop U-Play...

The best part of the review Lance posted was where the reviewer led the laser-dino into an enemy base, beginning a massive shoot-out between said roboneonlaserdino and a large camp full of cyborgs.

I've played a bit over an hour of Blood Dragon. Brilliant release. Doesn't take itself too seriously like Far Cry 3 did, same fun mechanics, great dialogue, references, and explosions.

Yeah it's really neat. The dragons are surprisingly tough to deal with early on. Already died a couple of times taking them on.

Ok I just finished it. Got through in two sittings, though I didn't do any more than half the side-missions. Honestly $17 well spent. I got more bang for my buck here than I did with Far Cry 3. I was entertained for a good 6-7 hours playing this game, and with it's price-tag it's easy to justify the price. The great thing about this game is that it didn't outstay its welcome, I was never bored and I'm satisfied with putting it down now. Far Cry 3 was great but at 20-30 hours I was pushing myself to finish the game, the last few hours just felt tedious.
