The game is worth getting just for Far Cry Arcade alone...community-built custom maps to take out outposts etc

Guys, as I mentioned earlier, I'm torn about it getting this.

Everything I've seen looks great. I don't play online though nor do I game as much as you guys. I put Primal on the other day and played it for maybe 30 mins but I got bored of it (don't actually mind the game though).

You guys reckon it's worth the punt for someone in my circumstances?

You don't need to play online so you can happily just go at your own pace. The game loop will be just about identical to Primal if you want to compare it to anything, but most people enjoy the guns, vehicles and blowing stuff up.

Why, it took me 30sec of trailers to see Primal was going to be shit.

Ah yeah. I think I get overwhelmed with how much there is to do. And doing what and when at certain times etc. I enjoyed FC4 a lot though.

I just mainly did the main quests on Primal. Barely any side quests

All FC games are basically the same and if you only last 30 mins on one you probably shouldn’t spend 50 bucks on another

I think if you enjoyed FC3 and FC4 then you will probably enjoy this. As other have said, all Far Cry games are basically the same.

Maybe wait for reviews and initial user impressions to drop and see if any new features really appeal to you?

FC4 was just a FC3 clone with enhanced graphics

Loved all the comments on facebook of people complaining how "shallow" the game must be if you can finish it in 10 minutes. I never did it in Far Cry 4 but wasn't there similar in that? Stay at the table or something and he comes back and that's that?
