Multiplat Far Cry 6

Am a fan of the series but Ubisoft never gives us a chance to 'miss their games'.

5 FC games in 8 years, 7 AC games in the same period. Fans get fatigued which I believe is a big part of the negative feedback.

And already hours of gameplay footage for this game released. People feel like they have already played it.

Will probably wait for a Black Friday/Christmas sale.

At least they have pulled back the AC games to every 2 years now which seems to be producing a better product, and the rumour is the next will be “live service”.

Every video game is like that now, seems a strange marketing decision to me to show half the game before it comes out…

I generally try and media blackout as much as possible…

I read something about this today and not sure I completely understand but enemies are weaker against certain bullet types and others those bullets won't really effect. Which means if you're a sniper you would need to carry two snipers, one for each bullet type.

Some are already hoping/calling for that to be completely removed.

Sounds like more rpg-lite features. If I weren't getting this already for nothing from a promo then so far there has been nothing at all so far that could have sold this to me.

It's Far Cry so I'll get it, might aim to play it more co-op. But nothing about it has grabbed me.

It's really the only part that has intrigued me, the mixture of suburban, urban and the wild. Could be a great map for exploration.

Have a heap of PS4 games gathering dust that I'm going to trade towards this at EB - they've got that trade 2 games and get it for the $29 deal. Love Far Cry but really struggled with the New Dawn (gave up about 2 hours in) so not too phased about this one

Yep didn’t like new dawn either

From what I’ve seen and read FC6 is a lot like the previous games with some new stuff which I’m ok with

When I ordered it said delivery on the day, but now this, and 2 other games I ordered (Battlefield and Ride 4) are also listed as unavailable now. Ride 4 is due here on Friday but hasn't even shipped yet. Something seems to be going on with games on Amazon but no clue what.

Can’t wait for this and any improvement on FC5 will be immense! FC5 is one the best open world games ever made. Only downside was the forced boss missions that gave me the shits!
