Finally caught up on this over the xmas break, top show. BBT just does restrained/civil insanity so well lol. Actor that played Molly was great too. Having her pregnant for the last few episodes was a nice nod to the movie. Is that accent for real, do people up that way really talk like that? Too funny. Just 2 minor things that kinda took me out of it tho;

- Police chief Saul Goodman. OK, maybe that guy could keep a job in some bum**** nowhere police department, maybe, but chief? Gimme a break, the guy could barely tie his own shoes.
- Didn't quite buy Lester's transformation. I get that a year had passed and it was his increased confidence/arrogance but come on, random vegas hotties are making come-****-me eyes at him over the bar. From zero to superstar in 12 months seemed a bit quick - where did he get the cash to start his own business, for example. The guy was making a bid on miss-matched socks a few months ago (good scene that, lol)

I think the point is that 99% of the rest of us would have just gtfo of there but Lester has broken bad and completely gotten full of himself by getting away with it all. He is now wealthy, with a new younger wife, winning awards etc and totally full of himself. It's exaggerated for sure, but that's how he is now, deluded with fake self-importance.

That was the other thing I really didn't get. What was Lester hoping to achieve by talking to Malvo? Again, I understand he's more confident (even has a line when he gets in the lift like "the old Lester would have let that slide") but Malvo even gives in a 2nd chance to back out ("is this what you really want") then Lester seems suprised when Malvo kills the other 3. What did he think he was saying yes to? Maybe I'm missing something.

Anyway feel like I'm bagging it too much now, really good show.

I wouldnt say bbt is insane in it, hes narcissistic and sociopathic. Half the time he just ****s with people for the fun of it.

Finished watching this a few months back. Definitely deserves it's 9.1 on IMDB.

Billy Bob, Freeman and Tolman all played their parts to perfection and really made the show, adding to that I thought Kieth Carradine played a great supporting role as a Tolman's Dad.

Colin Hanks (Gus) did a good job playing a fairly straight and boring character, loved him in the scene when he pulled Billy Bob over near the start of the season. He did a great job showing us the emotions/thoughts going through his head when Billy Bob gave that pretty scary monologue.

Will be looking forward to what season 2 can bring us.

Well my last binge of the summer is Fargo.

Half way through Ep 1...should have started this earlier....

I loved Fargo. Took an episode or two to really grip me... Enjoy.

Ep 8....fast fwd a whilst and Billy B 'he got his real hair' I scream at Mrs Gaso after several heated debates about whether Ep 1-7 he was wearing a wig ffs wtf....

Lovin it...if only Denis from Philly had lasted longer to give some comedic relief...it is probably better than BB at the same stage tho BB didn't hit until late So2 and S03....

Based on the film and produced by the genius Coen brothers. Looks like it'll be well worth checking out.
SBS has picked up the broadcasting rights for Australia but I know most of you sneaky bastards will be dipping in before it gets here.

Seen it. Brilliant . It is a real shocker. Check out Billy Bob's character. It is a creepy little gem of a TV series.

Just finished watching this.

It was BRILLIANT! Enjoyed it so much, Billy Bob Thornton was fantastic as Lorne Malvo but I could not take the detectives Key and Peele seriously though based on their show on Comedy Central.
