That guy speaking in the first scenes accent is weird, at first i thought he was aussie, listened again.... Saffo?

I figured it was a Yank actor trying to do an Aussie accent. Quite poorly and over-the-top mind you.

Perhaps natives of Minnesota laugh at some of the northern accents the actors put on too.

It really was quite silly. But not Coen-silly... just silly.

Another great episode, Fargo is about the only show that I watch without ever having a moment of distraction where I reach for my phone or my mind wanders or whatever.

The guy tapped to the gun, what a scene, you could see his demise coming a mile off, from last week even, but they still kept you guessing as to how it would unfold.

But then, even after they revealed how he was going to die and you knew what was going to happen it didn't matter, there was still suspense in how it played out.

Meanwhile Lester's character gets deeper and deeper.

Based on the film and produced by the genius Coen brothers. Looks like it'll be well worth checking out.
SBS has picked up the broadcasting rights for Australia but I know most of you sneaky bastards will be dipping in before it gets here.

Its really good. I am wondering if the plot line is the same as the movie. Which I have not seen. But this TV version is a ripper.

Snow scenes were amazing. The whole episode was amazing really. Most amazing of all (to me) is that apparently it has rained all sorts of animals in different parts of the world including worms, jellyfish and spiders.

And spoiler tags after an episode is released are ridiculous. I only just read the last page as I only just watched the show. Simples.

Snow scenes were amazing.

As someone who has seen bugger all snow during his life, those scenes just blow my mind. Both the visuals and the way they were used to build the drama were magnificent to watch.

The last episode was pretty special. Was starting to lose interest but the last episode was wow. Can't wait to see where this goes as I've got no idea how this will play out or who I'm even supposed to be rooting for.

Very good ep. The shootout at the house was brutal. And the snow scene also had me wanting to play a video game.

Why did the kid say nothing when he saw Lester?

Have watched all six episodes onbly this last week, so can finally read this thread.

Enjoying it much more than breaking bad, which I've stalled on in the second series.

One annoyance, especially in episode six are the number of shots of Gus and Molly talking while driving. It's so obvious that the car is on the back of a trailer being pulled (view looks down on all other passing vehicles) and that the snow is fake (it never sticks to the windscreen), that the suspension of disbelief which is paramount in a good show becomes unsuspended and you think 'this is a tv show'. They may as well have been talking directly to the camera. They really could have done that better.

Lester banging Hess' widow was pretty funny. I love the faces the actor pulls, particularly during the police interview. he reminds me of

The Billy Bob shoot-em -up was well done. Hopefully we get to see the full carnage next week.

I think it was her realisation that while she has been laid up maybe Lester has got away with it plus delayed shock at having been shot kicking in. Agree it did come across a bit strange.
