I watched the first two episodes over the weekend and enjoyed them, but I'm not totally convinced. There were a few slow moments which strained my interest a little. But I'm going to stick with it because their are a number of threads within the show that I have enjoyed.

Based on the film and produced by the genius Coen brothers. Looks like it'll be well worth checking out.
SBS has picked up the broadcasting rights for Australia but I know most of you sneaky bastards will be dipping in before it gets here.

This is one whacky show, very interesting, said with a German accent! Like it.

So far we have had Rivers of Blood and Locusts, I'd say there will definitely be frogs and killing of the first born.

Kinda surprised how few people are into this show. I suspect it will be a bit of a slow burner that will gradually pick up fans as word spreads, much the way Breaking Bad did.

Glad that Odenkirk got with the program. Would have tested my patience if he was still ignoring the obvious.

Only a 1 season miniseries type deal ala True Detective. But yeah agreed that this isn't getting the same kind of recognition that TD got, and I think it probably deserves it.

Yeah I think they pushed it as far as they could without it getting unbelievable. Timed it well in the end before it got too frustrating.

well, after watching the second ep, in the double episode, i would have sworn i was listening to coens dialogue, but, the exec producer is the scripwriter, and i dont think the coens have any writing credits. it feels a little like going to a whore and just doing onanism on/into a pulse, and i dont do that.

so i felt a little dirty when i knew it was not coens script.

and billy bob is just too close to anton suga in no country for old men. so i felt double dirty.


but now, i manage to suppress disbelief, cos it is gud god good

Sign of any good show is how quick it flies by, genuinely feels like a 30min show to me, which sucks & is great at the same time...

It's a convenient plot hole that the doctors didn't see it and remove it.

The pellet couldn't have lodged that deep in that part of the hand, surely he could have skolled a bottle of whiskey, gritted his teeth and tried to get it out with some needle tweezers?

Even going all Terminator on himself like that would have been more believable than the doctors somehow missing it.
