Only thing I'm not totally loving is the Indian. Not that he has to be as charismatic as Milligan or Malvo, just wish he was something more than he currently is.

S2 Ep: Fear & Trembling...left me a bit ...meh.

Parts were good if not very good.. the cinema scene with the "I don't understand why you bought your son?" - and as we all know, sons can be pains in the back..

and the Garage scene..another terrific sense of impending doom and or violence that never quite happens but your never sure if it will or not.

But, walking into the Waffle Hut, finding the door unlocked, no one inside and the crime scene still not cleared?? What the owners cant find someone else to cook and serve? And then going out to the ice and the blood stains...what, doesn't it rain or snow in North Dakota anymore and then finally going out onto the road and low and behold a piece of glass from a car, a big piece no less... what were the odds........ I tell ya if Al Gore had written a book about that scene he could have called it "A Convenient Truth'.

how much time has passed since the shooting?

I like him. Seems really realistic.

Tortured Indian with a dark past.

He is Michellin man compared to BB Days....not a bad effort...hope he can lose it again

"I'm thinking about starting a Christian speed metal band. Ya in?"

I thought he was poorly cast in BB. I didn't really buy that he was capable of doing what he ended up doing, he wasn't a fit with the rest of his family.

Still seems a little awkward in this role too though granted the character is supposed to be portrayed that way.

Nah disagree...he was so awkwardly ****ed mentally that he was a creep that was capable of doing anything...that scene with the motorcross kid at the train...disturbing all these years later.

That first scene from '51 in the theatre.. 'why did you bring your son?' wowee

Yeah that whole sequence of events was a bit of a stretch, from his access to a relatively undisturbed crime scene to finding the broken glass to finding the auto repair shop and car. Worth it I guess for the scene in the garage with the young grease monkey and his boss.

So, I got distracted watching this. What was the deal with the Gerhard girl and Milligan? Was she just looking to rebel against her Dad?

Guessing she's just lashing out at her dad for last weeks events, seems a bit of a stretch that she's seemingly cool with them prospectively killing her old man though. Also would have been nice to get a scene of her and Milligan running into each other and hooking up.

Thought that was the whole point of his character in BB - he didn't fit in with his uncle and the rest of his crew but the buttoned down psychopath in him was willing to do anything to prove that he belonged with them and could be trusted. Ditto with Walt and Jesse in the killing of motorbike kid.

I think the idea behind the Indian being able to track down the car so easily wasn't "convenient" for the plot, but more an intentional effort to demonstrate how small the town is and how there's nowhere to hide. The auto service place that the car was towed to is the same one that Lou parked at in the last episode (where he had the weird discussion with the bum about UFOs). The hairdressing salon has been visited by all key characters. The butcher is across the street, and has been visited by Lou. The Indian has now worked out who they are and knows where they both live and work. This led to the living room scene. Things are closing in, as they always do in smalltown stories. There's no escape.

This guy gets it. Also, it's set around 40 years ago, so things are obviously very different too ...

While I think this series as a whole is better scripted and really very good, last season had better highlights. If you look at Malvo compared to Mike Milligan and The Kitchen brothers, well Malvo was this nice guy, who was a real psychopath who knew no limits. The Kitchen brothers are comedy pastiches and Milligan is not all that menacing, just cool - he has a bit of the office worker, just doing his job - about him. Last season Lester Nygaard was this weedy character who did a very bad thing, really no excuse and it was a case of whether he was going to brought to justice. That gave the show a real edge. It's not the same this season, Peggy's hit and run was clearly an accident and at worst she would be looking at a short period inside.

I understand the blonde chick hates the dad, but surely she wouldnt go as far as getting everyone in her family killed. As if you would still try help out after getting threaten.....

Honestly thought fat damon's wife would try convince her husband to kill her boss, but i was wrong lol. My hate for her went down a fair bit after this episode.

Crazy good episode.

The shootout scene was ****ing nuts. The look of defeat on Brad Garrett's face said it all. The Indian is not someone to be messed with.

The scene between the son and the girl was interesting. Showed a very human side to the characters which we don't often see in this show. They clearly bonded over the book and liked each other, and you could see how ashamed he was when he got back in the car.

Peggy is beyond deluded, she's ****ed everything up.

The butcher shop scene was nuts. I thought Ed was dead for sure and then BAM, cleaver to the head.

The repercussions of the son being injured are going to be massive.

Great fight scenes in that episode.

Loved the Ronald Reagan character

Did the Indian spare oner of the Kitchen bros so that he could take back the head?

Interesting that the Sherrif's daughter drew a UFO hovering over the family. Wonder if it will be significant.

I suspect the Indian knows that the daughter is banging the black dude.

The UFO is a repeat reference. Has appeared 4 times.

That episode was ridiculous. So bloody good. Seems like sh*t will explode next week.

That episode was the ant's pants. Just brilliant television. How beautiful is this show to watch? The colours, the framing of shots......I could go on and on.

That shootout in the woods was beyond awesome........seriously good.

I was wondering why the Indian left one of the Kitchen brothers alive but I think evo hit it on the head (pardon the pun) in that he was left alive to deliver the head to Milligan.

Just a brilliant show.

I was wondering what happened to Brad Garrett's character after he came face to face with the Indian.

Loved the scene where Dodd's son goes into the butchers to kill them and ends up buying meat :D

The Kitchen brothers seem a bit of a rip off of the Salamca brothers from Breaking Bad,who also never spoke

Milligan gives the vibe he failed his audition for pulp fiction and walked straight out onto the Fargo set.

The character is way too forced IMO. Maybe Malvo was just too good to back up and I'm looking at it wrong.
