What a cracker episode.

The flash back to 16th Century Wales with someone looking remarkably like 'Ole-Munch' as a sin eater shows he's the murderous zombie linch-pin of this season . And the Jon Hamm Sheriff character staring blankly to the ceiling bare chested, apart from the nipple rings, while his wife picks out a costume from the lighted bed chest.

It's got the same elements of previous seasons but the actors playing the various parts and the warped story line is back to its best.

Only downside is having to wait a week for the next serve of kinky goodness.

Another great episode.

How good is this show going?

Its too long to wait a week for the next episode.

Such great characters.

Gator refers to Dot as Nadine but also Mama. Surely she's not his mother. It could be that she was married young and acted as his mother after Roy's first wife 'disappeared'.

I wonder if we will get to find out where she gained her skills.

Episode 4 was below par for me. Far too much time spent on that opening fight scene inside the house for very little return in terms of plot or character development.

YMMV.
Yeah felt a bit filler to me and opening scene a little disappointing. Munch and Roy speeches not very appealing..almost feels like trying too hard like the Munch story line

I wouldn’t understand a word without subtitles. Especially at the end when Dot was muttering to her daughter.

Back to its brilliant best in episode 5 - so many double entendres and cross references it was hard to keep up. Loved the libertarian=baby put down and will keep it in my back pocket for future use.

Half way through the season now and the final shot has the tiger at the cross roads. Love the way the writers wink at the audience like that.

I hate cheating but I just could not work out the relevance of the number plate so went to Dr Google. Only had to type 2 letters before multiple suggestions came up. That's what happens when millions of people are doing the same thing in various parts of the world at the same time I guess.

Been loving it so far, Juno Temple has been killing it as Dot.
Yep. And in episode 5 she keeps it up. In fact everyone plays their role brilliantly in this episode and all are given some great lines.

But IMHO Jennifer Jason Leigh is the real star of this episode. I know she's had some solid performances across many movies over the years but for some reason I never thought of her as a stand out actor before but boy, how wrong was I. She delivers each line with dead pan brilliance. Perfect casting. Absolutely perfect.

Agree. That was a fantastic episode. The scene between Lorraine and Sheriff Roy was the stand out for me. There's so many great characters in this show.

I had to google the number plate too. I don't think it's significant for this show, just another reference to the original Fargo movie.
