They can keep Jay "chef"
I would be happy to take their second round pick around #26 though.
We are going to end up with a key forward from somewhere, the longer the week goes the more desperate we will become.

Then its settled.. Another Dud for a year with no real progression... Should play the young kids and give them some on the spot experience instead of easing them into the lions pitt..

For Campbell (Freo 10 career games 24yo next year) I would be looking for him and a 3rd round draft pick about #37 for Ray; no less.. no upgrading.. player + pick. Honestly Campbell a year older and 60 games less than Farren says it all, I dont think much of him.
Even Ashley Hansen turning 26yo next season looks like he had a terrible season last year, and I would expect him and a draft pick about #53 for Ray if that move went ahead; no less.. no upgrading.. player + pick
I won't be surprised if Ray joins Terry's Tigers and we get Jay Schulz in return.
Ray for Hansen for would be a steal.
But I agree that I'd be bitterly disappointed if the club gave away their second pick for a tall forward who's looking for another chance. I'd be more then, I'd be livid.
woosha said hed only trade hansen for an exceptional deal...
prob early 2nd rounder
and if hansen was traded for ray itd be wbd adding picks on not wce

Won't be that desperate
I would say the odds are in favor of one ending up on the PSD.
If someone like a Boyle came at a reasonable price which in my opinion is around pick #48 or beyond, fine do the deal.

But I would be putrid if the club paid over the rate with a 2nd round draft pick for a forward looking for a second/last chance.
One thing I know is that Farren will most likely still be a listed AFL player in 3 years time. The tall forwards we are seeing on the market would probably be less than a 50/50 chance to be listed in the AFL in 2 years time.

A couple clubs interested, thats all really....
Which ones?
I have heard West Coast [today] & Freo [yesterday], apart from that, no other teams had been mentioned as far as i know.
Bulldogs' football manager James Fantasia was told yesterday that Ray will not agree to remain at Whitten Oval under any circumstances.
"It's up to the Bulldogs to get a deal done because otherwise he'll go through the pre-season draft," said Ray's manager, Rick Olarenshaw, who spoke with Fantasia yesterday.
"Farren wants to see a win-win deal struck. He'd like to get to the club of his choice and see the Bulldogs get something in return. That would be good. If not, then he will go for nothing.
