Who thinks Fas should be in the finals team over our best 22 (if they were all fit)?

I reckon he should. Has the spark and youthness that could potentially be a game winner.

That would depend on how he goes in the next 3 games.. i'd actually give him a rest before the start of a grueling finals series.. he would of played alot of games in row if we get to a gf. Lets not burn him out.

What I seen over the last Month I would have Fasolo ahead of Sidebottom and would drop Steele before Fasolo.

Anyone else Agree?

One a Premiership player and the other exciting albeit not great possession count. Both destined to play 100-200+ games for our great club.

But to even suggest that Sidey should be dropped one game out ffrom the finals.....really mate, what are you thinking?

Sidebottom = Top 3 players IMO for overall GF series = Biggest of big game player.
Faz = gun pick up, nice skills, very cocky. Hasn't proven anything. Yet.

Let's face it, Rusty has had some average games, but he hasn't had such a bad patch where it warranted dropping him, especially not at a time when he rolls his sleeves up and says "right! Time to be a freakin' superstar!" If we take historical look at this, I reckon both will play.

I think it has to be taken into account that Rusty has played every game this season. One of only 4, I believe in Rusty, Cloke, Reid and name escapes me.

He has also played well enough early onto draw a better class of opponent than last season, which obviously makes it slightly harder to stand out.

Despite this he's only had a few indifferent games.

On the whole he's still a level above Fas, though I'm a big fan of his too.

The real beauty of this is that nearly every player on the field is under palpable pressure to perform to their best every game, even in dead rubbers.

Come selection time I hope the selectors chose on form, no matter the player.

And I agree with you on Steele also, he plays a role for the team every given week, and has performed that role to or above expectation most weeks, simply shown by the fact he keeps getting selected each and every week.

He is another big game player, as shown by his past finals performances, and he is one player who will make us better once the finals start.

There is no doubt about it, players like Steele make us a better finals team then a home and away team, which is scary for all of our finals opponents.

I had the same trouble PE until I worked out the REAL culprit. . . .

I guess him playing every game does show that he been doing his Job for the Club as IF he was not playing MM would drop him.

Though does not mean Fasolo will be a very good player

umm are some people forgetting Sidey is 4th on tackles for our club, 5th for marks, 5th for disposal, 4th for kicks and equal 5th for goals. So yea fasolo not even in the same league (yet). Would like to see fasolo in the finals team he could be something.

You would have to go with Sidey for finals experience but its nice to know we have someone like Fas to call on in an emergency - we wouldn't lose much I think. And as for the future - yummo!
