Both very funny but Fast Forward had that De-gen flavour with Veitch's Kelvin character. Loved Vizard's Hinch send ups and Marg Downey as Jana Wendt interviewing Gerry Connolly as Joh Bjelke Petersen .... 'You're wrong Jana'
HAHAHAH :D

There was Michelle and Ferret, the creepy swinging couple, the Dodgy brothers, the gay airline stewards, Gina Riley's brilliant video clip ripoffs. I agree too that the Moon/Vizard first Kung Fu skit was priceless stuff, I laughed just as hard as them.
Michelle & Ferret were great, Bob & Cheryl (Bobb und Shiril) were the South African swingers that used to spy on other couples "Muhuhuhur I-I-I do hope you're not naked under them towels Muhuhuhuhuur MWIIIHAHAHAHAHA" :D

Both were bloody funny. Was too young to remember Fast Forward but Full Frontal was an absolute riot. Loved when they did the Mmmbop skit and Pauline Hanson

For those whom were'nt arround when Fast Forward was this is for you:

If you liked Full Frontal chances are you would've LOVED Fast Forward.
I have all three Fast Forward DVD's and can't wiat for the fourth one to come out soon. Skit's like: Good Morning Moscow(Legendary!!!)

How can we EVER forgot the line, Victor your a very unattractive man!

The Show D-Generation formed several groups. Two sketch shows: 10's The Comedy Company, 7's very successful Fast Forward. It also created The Pannel and radio personalities such as Martin/Molloy and Judith Lucy.

The show created many brilliant actors but none as good as Magda Szubanski.

R.I.P. Fast Forward.

Both far better than anything going around today. Whatever happened to Aussie comedy? It's a little disturbing.

Sketch comedy is very difficult to be successful these days. Its very tough to get ratings and create successful, funny shows. Aussie Comedy is thriving however not on our TV. Any comedy show on TV these days struggle for ratings, and if the networks dont get ratings the network aint intrested in wasting time in gambling for ratings. Aussie Comedy, especially sketch wont be successful on TV for at least 3-5 years. At the end of that period everybody will of had enough of serious shows and will demand a laugh. Comedy then will boom on TV and spurt again for arround a decade then once again die down then pop up. Comedy on TV has its own circle. At the moment were just seeing nonse rubbish and stupid non funnyisms shows.
IMO Comedy Inc is very, very funny and is a great sketch comedy show.

I'd have to go with Full Frontal. Although from what I remember I also loved Fast Forward. The SBS woman - hilarious. Also loved The Comedy Company. Tough choice between the three.

To like Fast Forward, you needed to be a huge fan of parody. I'm not - at least not in the copious doses served up by this show. Much prefered the more satirical or character-based humour of Full Frontal and Comedy Company.

Now there's a blast from the past. I used to listen to that show religiously on TTT-FM down here, every weekday.
From memory it was around 1996. Good radio show - probably the last one I ever took any interest in.

I was too young to really understand Fast Forward but everyone a few years older than me says it shytes all over Full Frontal. But from my POV I'll always have fond memories of Milo Kerrigan and Pewter from Full Frontal.

I agree, it's one of the few that I've taken an interest in........top quality. I think they're both very very funny people so I loved it.

Full Frontal.

Give us info on the Fast Forward DVDs please, are they Best Of's or what?
There are two called the Best Of Fast Forward and one(ATM) called Fast Forwards Best TV send ups. The second of the BEst TV send ups is coming out next month.

I only really started watching from Full Frontal onward, although I have seen a little bit of Fast Forward (I was basically not allowed to watch them because I was too young :()

Therefore my fairly biased view is that Full Frontal was by far the funnier of the two. Shaun Micallef is the best comedian I have ever seen - always makes me laugh. Eric Bana was great, ANNNN was hilarious, Francis Greenslade was great and the list goes on and on.

I have never really been much of a fan of Michael Vitch, Peter Moon or Marg Downey. They were really funny occasionally (particularly Marg Downey when she did the SBS presenter role, and Peter Moon in the Kung Fu sketch alluded to) but I never really laughed as hard as I did at Full Frontal.

Good Morning Moscow(The Hippy, Hippy shake)> "Victor, your a very unattractive man!"

Classic Moment!!!

Vizard quits, facing fines and bans
John Ferguson and Craig Binnie
05jul05

STEVE Vizard may face being banished from the boardroom and fined up to $600,000 after misusing his Telstra directorship to trade shares.

Mr Vizard, 49, dramatically quit two major public posts as the fallout from a two-year corporate watchdog investigation widened.
Premier Steve Bracks said Mr Vizard had surrendered positions as chairman of the Major Events Company and the 2007 World Swimming Championships board.

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission alleged Mr Vizard had breached his duty as a Telstra director to gain an advantage for himself or others.

He could be banned as a director for life and fined up to $600,000.

The multi-millionaire businessman has escaped criminal charges, but has agreed that he misused his position.

Federal Court documents allege Mr Vizard bought and sold shares in three listed companies -- Sausage Software, Computershare and Keycorp.

ASIC said Mr Vizard's actions contravened the Corporations Act because as a director he used the information improperly to gain an advantage. It said the information gained by Mr Vizard had enabled him to make profits and avoid making losses.

Steve Vizard left the Comedy company to make Fast Forward. He was n actor and the director. This issue happened today.
