Grand final sprint is a bit of a wank, I don’t think my team (or any team) has taken it seriously, more like ‘who wants a ticket to the GF?’ Who are the serious contenders?

My pick.
Fraser Gehrig before he morphed into the Michelin Man/Buzz Lightyear, reports of him running mid 10s at WC on grass when he was a wingman, well mid to late 10’s depending on who you believe, either way that is airborn.

Any other nominees?

Ben Long. According to the AFL app his "average" speed is faster than Usain Bolt.

His top end is not listed because he clocked the speedo.

The snitch is pretty quick. Used to dominate the GF Sprint whenever he was in it.

We have Jack Peris on our list.

Son of Olympic Sprinters Nova Peris and Daniel Bateman.

His dream before he was drafted was to run in the Olympics and according to Nova, he run a sub 11 second time as a 15-16-year-old.

He hasn't made his debut yet so not sure he counts but he would be my bet for the quickest guy on an AFL list at the moment.

Here he is running 22.03 second 200m time in the U16s on a wet track

They only give top speeds though, and who knows how accurate they are.

We have no one in our team a lack of pace is one of our many issues. Last guy from our club I can remember with an Awesome 100m was Danger.

Without looking at stats of the top of my head Nick Hind and Adam Saad come to mind.

I wouldn't have picked Membrey

Petruccelle is fast, wonder what he’d clock.

I reckon McCreery would be our fastest along with Crisp.

What's even more impressive is that this was his TOG that day. Flying.

He's a cat B rookie but he's had his contract extended and was super impressive for Sandy on the wing and HBF.

Wouldn't put it past him to make it - Seems a really professional and hardworking kid.
My boy lined up on the reigning state u14 200 mtr champ this season in footy, got his ass kicked, said it wasn’t worth chasing him lol.

The legend of Kane Tenace is probably down to 10.1 these days
