When its Team of the Century was announced in May 2001, the depth of Fitzroy’s class was highlighted not only by the brilliance of the players selected in the team, but also by the calibre of the players who missed selection.
To honour some of the players, who missed selection in the Team of the Century, I have selected another team of champions, who represented the Roys in either the VFA, VFL or AFL.
Feel free to use a team approach to decipher my cryptic clues to help you uncover the identity of each player.
None of these players were selected in our Team of the Century.
