When its Team of the Century was announced in May 2001, the depth of Fitzroy’s class was highlighted not only by the brilliance of the players selected in the team, but also by the calibre of the players who missed selection.

To honour some of the players, who missed selection in the Team of the Century, I have selected another team of champions, who represented the Roys in either the VFA, VFL or AFL.

Feel free to use a team approach to decipher my cryptic clues to help you uncover the identity of each player.

None of these players were selected in our Team of the Century.

WOW, You guys are good!:D

I'm saving the correct answers into my original post, as you get them.

You've done really well so far, but the centreman is not Tammy Beauchamp. Keep trying.

I'm continuing to update the answers in my original post, with the reasoning behind my cryptic clues.

Have fun.:D
