3 of Naishy's sons coming through over the next 5 years is outstanding work by the little man. If they turn out as good as we all hope I reckon he deserves a statue next to KB or captain blood.
Lol. The statue could be of him in the missionary position!

Bailey LAMBERT 7/5/1999 181cm 80kg

Watched him play against NT and he didn't do a lot - but that's the only time I think I've seen him play. Generally if you're any good you'll stand out and be in the bests. The standard of some of the U18 Academy Series games were very poor.
Agree....if you haven't been named multiple times in the bests for these games, you're not making allies and it would take some huge QAFL/NEAFL games for him to get on the radar.
Where does he play?

That's why the stat is rubbery imo. Hits the target better than most imo.

Stats are not rubbery. His kicking is average. It was very good on Saturday night though. But he has a tendency to over hit them more than anything.

It's not like it's a terrible thing, Dusty, Fyfe and Dangerfield are all average kicks when looked at closely. Biggest issue though is they are for more inside then Merrett. That being said guys like Gaff and Hunter who id compare him to get nowhere near as many clearances. So swings and roundabouts.

100% have him at Richmond though... Would take anyone with talent and some heart these days.

There are few names that are missing Ramman Winmar (2018). Rhys Damon (2019), Will Dwyer (2020), Achoung Agog (2020), Kris Pele(2020). Possibly have not been submitted for approval yet or maybe overlooked by the club. This is from the article on the AFL web site:

The list is a rolling group, with more names set to be added as the year goes on and more players are identified by clubs. An AFL committee rules on each prospect's eligibility before the group is officially updated.

Would hope for quality as well as quantity. It would be a good result if our NGA zone produced same quality as last year (a first round pick and 2 third round picks).

If you add in father-son selections there should lots of talent that we can bid on in upcoming drafts.

2017 Patrick Naish, Joshua Broderick (Northern Knights), Paddy Turner (GWV Rebels / Ararat), Bailey Lambert (Brisbane Lions Academy / Morningside)
2019 Zac Knights (Geelong Falcons), Xavier Naish (Northern Knights)
2020 Maurice Rioli Jnr, Bodey Lambert
2023 Charlie Naish
I believe some previously within the academy have either opted out or been cut .
A number of years away but believe a kid within our academy region is a real good chance of playing state under 12 level.
Whilst there is another who has taken massive steps to get his body into shape outside of the acedmey and is ticking many boxes playing senior footy as a 16 year old.
