#6 Ewan Macpherson

The Diamond Creek product led from the front and did everything in his power to make his side’s performance more respectable. His burst from the clearances early was a highlight, and he showed good agility to keep some nippy would-be tacklers at bay. The younger brother of Gold Coast’s Darcy, Macpherson has the same willingness to push the ball forward at all costs and break through whoever may be in his way. An overarching theme of his game was leadership, and he can hold his head up high for that.

This was a write up from the recent under 16’s carnival.

Matt Balmer says at this stage, the 2020 draft crop looks really average.

#23 Jamarra Ugle-Hagan
Ugle-Hagan was one who didn’t do a whole lot throughout the course of the game, but caught the eye when he was in possession. A few twists, turns, strong contested marks and clean pick ups were enough to suggest we may see a few more highlights from him in the future.

Country captain Sam Conforti and exciting GWV Rebels’ forward Jamarra Ugle-Hagan were named among Vic Country’s top players as the latter booted four goals across the matches.

Some notes from the u16s games a few weeks ago. JUH seems particularly exciting.

On track to be a better player than his older brother and the club have already interviewed him twice.

We didn't take Darcy because at the time we had our fill of his type of player on the list and his shoulder was an issue.

Did your kid make it as well?
Fronk junior is a young year 7, so unavailable.

Team just finished the Sydney wide division 1 season undefeated.

Don’t hold your breath on young Cameron. If he had a different last name, he’d be nowhere near it.

Nothing really, Foz.

Still only about 15...

I know he's been captain of his team at the age levels he's played. Encouraging!

Pardon the ignorance but is there a connection between this kid and us?

Interesting titbit from Open Mike that young Zak Southern is absolutely footy mad but barracks for Hawthorn!
A lot of dogs dads let their kids pick their own team but over time bring them back to the dogs

Same was with Hunter
