I’ve seen plenty of discussion about father/son and academy selections this year but I’ve been finding it hard to find a comprehensive list with expectations. So I thought I’d start one. I’ve been following reports on the Pies priority access selections this year (though if I have their draft expectations wrong someone please correct me) but I haven’t kept up on other clubs. I thought if everyone could post what they are aware of on this regards I will update the OP with the info. Mostly who they are, whether they are academy or father/son and a rough range of where they are expected to go on draft night. As the formal nominations are announced I will also update the below.

Geelong have Oscar Brownless as a F/S and are considering whether to rookie Blake Schlensog from their next gen academy.

We also have Baxter Mensch as a F/S who is considered to be a rookie prospect at best.

Thanks Nakia. Do you know what draft range is expected for Brownless?

Two NGAs for the Dockers - Carter and Medhut.

Brisbane Lions:
Connor McFadyen (Lions Academy) - pick 30/35+.
Keiden Coleman (Lions Academy) - late late draft to rookie.
James Rendell (FS - Sandringham Dragons) - Rookie to undrafted.
Casey Voss (FS - SANFL) - Rookie to undrafted.

Bombers will probably grab Mason Fletcher very late or as a rookie I’d imagine. Matt Neagle perhaps a chance, was looking ok before that horrific arm injury

The Bulldogs have Rhylee West as a F/S and a top 20 prospect. Imo, I reckon he could end up as one of the best players from this draft.

Looks like we'll get them all, and they're all promising.

Hes got 3 younger brothers too. We could really be the Sons of the West in the near future.

Struth! I really rate Rylee too so If his brothers are as good you've got your compass pointing in the right direction.

Carlton have father/sons ...

Liam Hickmott (unlikely)
Will Hickmott (maybe mid to late draft - tested well at combine)
Ben Silvagni (rookie list maybe late draft pick)

This thread is telling me that trendy baby names from the late 90s do not sound good when applied to adults. Bailey, Baxter, Rhylee etc...

Irving Mosquito is a magnificent name though

Personally I wouldn’t call them “trendy names” more like bogan names from dyslexic parents.
