That has little bearing on it - the clubs would provide nutritional advice. A person's body composition is made in the kitchen, not on the field/gym.
At most they get $30,000 a year. Thats tier 1 payment for them.

When they get something more compareable to the men then take pot shots. Not a newly formed league.

2 big full forwards from the 60's
Geelong- Doug Wade
South Melb- John Sudholz

Kickett was ridiculously overweight in his stint at the Swans but could still influence a game.
Lockett in his early years at the Saints.

I think we know who ate all the pies this year.

In 1992 Adelaide had this little chubby guy with the best mullet hairstyle named Adam Saliba 176cm and 91kg, he played 3 good games before quitting from the AFL at the end of that season. I reckon Wayne Weidemann would have been jealous of his mullet.

Mick Nolan a North Melbourne ruckman who played in the 1970's was a beast.

I remember it was kind of lulzy, and kind of disappointing, when Shannon Cox retired from AFL footy at age 23 because he'd basically gotten too fat and couldn't be bothered working his way back into shape. He didn't have a naturally "thick-set" body type either, was just lazy and got fat.
