Personally I Thought When We Beat W.C By That Huge Margin And Nathan Ablett Had That Huge Quarter To Show Us What We Can Look Forward To In The Next 10 Years..

Yep, the west coast smashing with Nathan Ablett kicking 4 goals would be up with the best for me. (I didn't get to watch them beat the saints)

Oh, And Why Talk/Type Like This For?

The Port Adelaide win at home in the wet was the most impressive for me. Just couldn't fault them for the whole match and their intensity was perfect.

Honourable mentions to the Port win at AAMI (gutsy/Ottens/breakthrough interstate) and the West Coast win where by jaw was on the floor for the whole first quarter watching the N. Ablett show.

Port at AAMI Stadium.
St. Kilda @ TD (comeback win)
WCE @ Skilled Stadium
Melbourne @ MCG, Elimination Final.

All equally as special to me (I was at all of them bar the Port game, which I was watching live on TV).

Of the games I went to I enjoyed the St Kilda come from behind win the most as I had a few beers before the game and during so when we came back I loved it! I would have said I enjoyed the Port or West Coast wins but I was playing those days so I missed out.

Oh well. The Elimination Final was also an enjoyable game to watch

Easily the port win as i got to have a few drinks with the boys after the game, it was a great night, especially as ottens $400,000 was worth it for at least 1 good game

Probably the Port game. Comprehensively smashed them all day.

The win over the Saints would be a close runner-up though it would have been nice to have beaten them when they weren't setting up a triage on the interchange beach.

Nothing beats the atmosphere at the G finals time. I was sitting right near the cheer squad, behind the goals, and that game was magnificent. Too bad about the week after that...

And the StKilda game a close second to that one... and Nathan v West Coast third!!

How many days to go till 2006?!....

1. The St.Kilda win, easily. I'm sick of hearing about how "unlucky" they were. The fact was, we hung in there, got royally screwed by the umpires all day, then turned it on and obliterated them. I was at our end in the last quarter and very much enjoyed watching the onslaught. A glorious day, especially to finish over the top of that scum.

2. The Melbourne win in the finals. Right behind the goals, Punt Road end, hurling abuse at Melbourne's frontrunners (Yze, Davey etc) to great delight. Particularly enjoyed Davey hitting the post from 10 yards out, I guess he still displayed "wizardry" in doing it. Very, very enjoyable afternoon.

Agree with the other 4 listed games: Did mention to wife that after smashing Kangaroos by 85 points in round 9 that i couldn't see Cats losing another game all season... We owed the Kangaroos a drubbing. I am still haunted by the game that Leigh Harding bagged 6 against us.

Best game of year (non Geelong):

Melbourne v Richmond - Friday night - Telstra Dome round 10. Seeing money-grabbing Nathan Brown's leg smashed was the highlight. My only complaint - not ENOUGH replays. Let's hope for a repeat snap this year from the most overrated player in the comp.
