Hey everyone!

I think it's about time I posted a topic and I thought I'd stay in the Christmas spirit. I hope you don't think this topic sux, but if you do please be kind coz it's my first one!!! :p

So, what is/are your favourite carols and why. I can't really answer this question because my favourite part of Christmas is carol singing and I love most, if not all of the carols.

However, a few of my favourite carols would be O Holy Night, Mary's Boy Child, Away in a Manger and Silent Night mainly because they hold good memories for me!

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and all the best for the coming New Year, 2001. Hope it's a good, if not better, one for you and your family.

Darky go get some soap and stop listening to 'Kevin-Bloody-Wilson'.

Teddy3, I also love Silent Night, Jingle Bells, The First Noel, Mary's Boy Child. All because they have been around for years and years and are known extremely well.

But my absolute fav would have to be The Drummer Boy. I don't really know why it just does something for me like no other carol. It's deep and meaningful!

Good topic, keep it up!

not necessarily carols but Christmas songs...

How to make Gravy - Paul Kelly
War is Over (if you want it) - John Lennon

Fav. actual carol

Hark the Herald Angels Sing - sung by the Australian boys choir.

Jingle Bell Rock has been a favourite of mine for quite a while as is the one that starts with "chestnuts roasting on an open fire' (not too sure of it's 'real' name) and I also like the Aussie 'Deck the Sheds' as opposed to 'deck the halls'.
