These are just a few and there are certainly many more like foxsports.com, espn, TSN, USA Today, CNNSI along with the local newspapers etc etc.

www.realteam appears to be having server problems of late but I hope it is up and running again soon as the format is very close to the old NFLTalk.com web site (and have a few of their old writers). Very good for the latest trade/injury news.

KFFL also has a very good hotwire news service and excellent BB with plenty of friendly knowkedgeable posters.

Usually if I don't go to nfl.com, I get my news from foxsports.com or espn.com, both are pretty good.

I'm the same as The Hippie, I mainly go to the NFL, Fox and ESPN web sites. The ESPN web site is excellent especially for people playing fantasy football it gives you plenty of useful information.

Just as an update to this thread, Foxsports - http://www.foxsports.com have just re-launched their new and improved website and is defintely worth a look. I have just customised it to see articles on my fav teams Cowboys, 76ers & Spurs and players Emmitt Smith & Quincy Carter. Pretty easy to do and a pretty cool looking website.

I'm a Jets and Packers man, one in each conference. A foot in either camp, if you like. And I was going to add, I liked watching the Cowboys in their prime. Aikman, Emmitt, Irvin, Michael Harper and co, they had a strong side under Jimmy Johnson. It's pity in a way that his and Jerry Jones' egos stuffed up an era at the top. They should have dominated for more years than they did.

But seeing you booed the Jets, I wont.

Leaf to 'Boys

omh, I was just looking at the NFL games for this week on ESPN and they were saying Ryan Leaf was expected to sign as 3rd string QB on Wed. Have you seen this yet?

Hippie, It looks like Leaf will sign with the Cowboys later today. I thought Tampa would of been a good place for Leaf to get his career back on track but I guess the Bucs thought 4 QB's on their roster was just to many. Also maybe Leaf's past history went against him when the Bucs had to make their final choice.

I don't know if Dallas is the right team for Leaf I can see him getting into more trouble. Hopefully he doesn't because he has the talent to become a good QB.

Also Hippie just out of interest, what games are they showing on ESPN this weekend?. We can't get ESPN here in Adelaide so I'm stuck with Fox and their one game a week. I might have to move to the country so I can get Austar who have both ESPN and Fox Sports.

Question for you Carb, where does Fox stand in regard to Austar customers getting the AFL channel next season? I haven't been heard anything yet, has anybody else?

Hippie all I have heard is Fox has AFL next year. They have also been showing commercials on Foxtel stating that as well but up until now we have not receive any other information other than that.

I have heard unofficially that at this stage the AFL is going to be a separate channel which will be an extra $10 a month but I think they will inform us what's actually going on next year as soon as this current season ends. So at this stage I couldn't tell you if it will be on Austar or not, but you think it would be. Anyway as soon as I hear anything , I will let you know.

OMH, it's being reported on ESPN and NFL.com sites that due to a wrist injury, Ryan Leaf won't be signing with the Cowboys after all. Sorry mate, wanted to see him get a chance somewhere.

Hippie, yeah he didn't pass his physical and need surgery on his wrist. Well the rank and file Cowboy fans over in the US are all breathing a sigh of relief so Quincy Carter COME ON DOWN!!

Big one this week carb70?? Larry Allen v Warren Sapp boy I would love to see that. Tampa Bay will be too strong but who knows. By mid-Monday morning if Richmond and The 'Boys are victorious I will be feeling mighty fine indeed!! Good luck carb but not too much.

omh, I would love to see Richmond win tonight but that's about it. I think the Bucs will start the season with a huge win against the Cowboys, I predict 31-7 will be the final score and I expect huge games from Warrick Dunn who should rush for 150+ yards and Keyshawn Johnson who should score 2 TDs.

I also think Warren Sapp will have a good game and I will be interested to see how Simeon Rice who we got from Arizonia does linning up next to Sapp in the defensive line. It's a shame FOX are not showing America's team on TV this weekend.
