Toss up between 1 and 2 for acting and for the thrill of victory respectively. I like the comeback in 3 and like the patriotism of 4 although having a Russian crowd cheering for the American was a little too much to take.

Went for 2 in the end because I like a winner but 1 was superb.

rocky 1 was good as we got a decent intro of rocks and him declaring his love for his soulmate after the fight was good. rocky 2 rolled on too long but him finally winning the title paid off. rocky 3 was the most emotional filled one with rocky losing mickey and seeing him fall from grace for once but coming back to win the title just gave it a more entertaining edge especially with clubber lang "I pity the fool".

Rocky 4 was a bit unrealistic and 5 was awful.

I chose 2 at the end. He finally won the title and did Mickey proud.

It depends on a few things. As far as quality goes Rocky I is the best by a fair bit but if you enjoyed the first one and got into the character than Rocky II and III are probably more enjoyable, but would be duds on their own.

Rank them in the order they were released... up to V anyway (haven't seen VI).

Series went downhill after Rocky II, the training sections are the only ones worth watching.

Rocky V. I mean how could you go past the cliche of father puts everything ahead of son, for son to go out a rebel get himself a fancy dangling ear ring and a hobbo kid as a gf. wow rebel!

Nah 1 for me.

i think he means that he enjoys the parts where rocky does his training before the big bout.... eg. in rocky IV... the contrasting training methods of rocky and drago...

just watched the final installment.... not bad at all, predictable, but still enjoyed it... though, i am a big rocky fan (except for frickin' rocky V)...
