There is non better than the “librarian” moment.
For me, even so early in the game, it convinced me that we were untouchable that day.
The commentary was brilliant considering it was such a lay down goal that was taken away by pure determination. No one saw it coming and other commentators might have easily just said ”wowee” “golly gosh”.

I was at the game so didn’t hear the ‘librarian’ comment until I watched the replay (about a million times).

But even without hearing it, the impact of Heater’s effort reverberated around the ground. You are right in calling it a ‘we’ve got this’ moment.

Huddo's call of Jack Anthony's winning goal in the 2009 Semi Final.

"Hope in his heart, dream's in his head. Jack Anthony... HE'S DONE IT!

“If that doesn’t lift the roof off the MCG, nothing will”

I think it was Eddie in the 1990 GF, Roudy came back on after being KO’d and kicked a goal.

"He's give him one too...yeah, he's done well"

1985 Collingwood Reserves, vs South Melbourne Reserves.

Commentary by Ray Jordan after soon-to-be ex-Collingwood player John Bourke jumped the fence and flattened a spectator, whilst being dragged off the ground having just kicked and thrown an umpire to the ground.

All on live television during the reserves game on a Sunday morning.

Slug's previous comments were, "you've gotta take the boy off!" and "He'll whack the runner now!"
