Jaeger O'Meara would be my favourite closely followed by Brad Crouch

Nick Rodda. Hopefully he'll be an Eagle with our first selection :thumbsu:

Of the higher draft selestions the ones that interest me are Daniher, Wines and Grundy

For a feel good story, and because he can make the grade as well i hope Shane Nelson gets drafted this year

Troy Menzel. Can bust a game apart in minutes.

Plus, the Menzel boys really deserve a break. I hope we get to see the best of both brothers, because I think their ceiling is extremely high.

Maybe not the best choice of words :) I am with you, would love to see them do well.

Viney obviously cause I'm a Dees fan, but because of the following in particular:

Nearly every comment or review I've read about him says he's one of, if not the, toughest blokes to ever come through the draft. His attack on the ball is meant to be incredible. Even as an underage player he just flat out bullied the other opposition around the stoppages and hits the man as hard as he hits the ball. Having seen him in the VFL a couple of times I am genuinely excited about having him in the team. He racks up the pill, is deceptively quick in close, and doesn’t take a backwards step from anyone. Could be an absolute monster inside mid (in spite of his lack of height) much like his old man. Over time I think he’ll become one of (if not the) premier inside midfielders in the comp.

What I’m wondering though, is how is he going to go against guys like Sewell, Kerr, Kennedy, Judd etc in his first year. I think you can generally tell a lot about youngsters in their first season based on their attitude towards the game and the opposition. The truly great players pretty much never look intimidated in their first season. If Viney is going to be the messiah the Demons fans hope he is, then we will know pretty early on if his mental attitude and attack on the footy is just for show or if he’s legitimately the hard man he’s made out to be.
