We have a lovely bunch of young, talented football players coming through our Football Club at the moment.

So it’s a simple question. Who’s your favourite player aged 24 or under?

For me it’s a tossup between, Schaz and Aish. I think Aish might win that.

I’ve made the poll only for players who’ve clocked at least 1 senior game.

I still remembering Aish running to the goal square taking a beautiful mark in one of the last rounds of 2017. Loved it. I think he was wearing the long sleeves too. Nice.

I usually go for the outliers, really happy with how Maynard is tracking, Sier also looks promising. Gave Maynard my vote because he's my boy!

Tbh, I started this thread with “Under 22”, but then realised WHE is older than that. I knew he would get a few votes.
Plus Under 24 is still young.

You (everyone, myself included) don’t even realise that’s 22 players. None of them are absolutely putrid, some aren’t great. But we have 22 players under the age of 25, who have played at least one AFL game and are compotent.
Crazy. We are building.

I'm confused. Under 24 in the first post, under 23 in the poll and thought about under 22 in a post above.

My favourite is Darcy Moore. I think he could be anything with a decent run at it.

I also voted Tay Tay, so we know where his two votes have come from.
The thing that is so pleasing about the poll is the amount of young talent we have.
If we can keep the core of them together we might see some happy days in the future.

The best thing about that list is just how well spread out it is, both in terms of positions (probably needs another KPF), and talent (including, depth, role-players, and a few true stars).

And for the record, my vote went for Kirby. Out of all those guys he's the one I wish the most gets the chance to make a career for himself.
