We mightv'e half done it before, but I thought we'd do it again to get the board going...

What has been the most enjoyable PPV you have seen?

For me, my favourites would have to be Wrestlemania 3, King of The Ring 98, Summerslam 2000, Survivor Series in Montreal, Royal Rumble 1990 92, Starrcade 98, Bash at the Beach 2000 and most of the ECW PPV's.

What about everyone else?

Ill give reasons later on...

Fine I'll do it
my three Favoirite ppv's were as follows:

WWF Wrestlemania 2001
WWF Summerslam 2000
And The Drew Carey Rumble :D

And also maybe Fawl Brawl 2000
And the PPV where Buff Bagwell and Lex Luger beat Golberg and Sarge? anyway i can't remember the name of that ppv
:o

BPP,

Bash at the Beach 2000. That was when Hogan left. No?

Was that why it was so special?

Its tough to say which ones were the best.

Mine would have to be King of the Ring '98. This was an awesome PPV just for the Hell in the Cell :)

Wrestlemania XVII - Brilliant all round except a few slow matches to start. Gimmick Battle Royal had me LMAO for the rest of the day :)

I've watched a ffew ECW PPVS on video, cant name em but they were awesome.

Summerslam 2000 just becasue TLC owned it. And Shane O'mac took a sick bump.

Talking on PPV's anyoen getting Invasion? I ordered it but am not realy looking forward to it now. The mainevent sounds a bit stoopid.

Bash at the Beach was the ppv where Russo screwed Hogan and gave Booker T his chance against Jarrett. I was really looking fwd to that ppv because of all the rumours surrounding Hogan not showing and whether he was gonna drop the belt to Jarrett or not. When he showed up I thought "another boring Hogan win" but when Russo came out and did what he did it shocked me. I don't overly dislike Hogan but the ppv suprised me and it had the potential to kickstart WCW again (for the 500th time:rolleyes: )

I just ordered Invasion tonight, I don't know a lot of what happened prior to it but hopefully it'll be a good ppv. It'll be good to see some of the old WCW guys back in the ring...

Money In The Bank 2011 was a great overall card, with one of the best matches of the modern era as the Main Event. One of my favourites after having watched a few recent PPV's.

King of the Ring 1996 is a damn good card for its time.

Ahmed v Goldust
HBK v Bulldog, although Perfect as ref was kind of useless
Taker v Mankind
Austin v Mero should have been the tournament final and not the semi.... although the speech worked best with beating Roberts.

Geez, I don't think I've ever seen a 13-year thread bump!

Summerslam 2002 got me back into wresting for the first time in quite a few years. Some great matches - Rey vs Angle, Michaels vs HHH and Brock vs Rock, IIRC.

I loved the last two TNA PPVs of 2009. Joe vs AJ vs Daniels, Angle vs Wolfe, Abyss & Foley vs Raven & Richards, Magnus & Williams vs Shelley & Sabin, Tara vs Kong, Amazing Red vs Homicide...

Such a shame the Hogan/Bischoff era completely derailed things.

ECW Living Dangerously '99
ECW Guilty As Charged '99
ECW Anarchy Rulz '00

TNA Bound for Glory '06
TNA Turning Point '09
TNA Victory Road '10

WWE Survivor Series '99
WWE Backlash '02
WWE No Way Out '03

WCW Uncensored '99
WCW New Blood Rising
WCW Greed

My favourites are --

Souled Out 1998
Spring Stampede 1998
Halloween Havoc 1998
Backlash 2000
No Way Out 2001
WrestleMania X7

i think theres a recent thread along these lines, but anyway

great american bash 89
wargames 92
spring stampede 94
canadian stampede
Summerslam 2013. Im probably biased because I was there but theres not too many ppvs with 2 matches as great as cena/bryan and punk/lesnar. Plus a really good christian/adr match

I really enjoyed Survivor Series 2006. Even bought it on DVD a few months after it aired.

I haven't seen all PPV's since then or before that to list favourites. There is some but can't think of them. The WWE Network has a shitload of old and new PPVs, so I plan to start there. Watch ones that I missed.

Vampiro & Muta vs KroniK, Booker vs Jarrett, 3 Count vs Jung Dragons. I found it incredibly entertaining. I'm sorry if that doesn't register as a reasonable answer to you :thumbsu:

was just surprising as it was genuinely the last ppv i ever got and it was because it was so awful that i stopped getting them

the storm/awesome match was the biggest pile of dog shit i can remember and there was also the infamous judy bagwell on a forklift match

Lol I don't disagree with you on the two points made. I think I was just so much of a mark for the whole 'Dark Carnival' thing and also for the cruiserweight tag division that this one really stood out as awesome for me. In saying that I would've been in grade 6 or year 7 watching it haha

I've still got probably close to every ppv on vhs from 97-01 in a cupboard somewhere. I reckon the '98 Survivor Series 'Deadly Game Tournament' would have to be up there for mine. Such a great ppv with a continuous storyline throughout the whole event & plot twists from beginning to end.

Royal Rumble 97 - 98 - 2000
SummerSlam 98 - 2000 - 2002
Survivor Series 97
Wrestlemania 15 - 19 - 22

Will have to think of the other ppvs, i havn't purchased a dvd since WrestleMania 28. I stopped buying them regularly in 2007-2008, its hard to pinpoint the moment that i stopped caring about having a complete collection. I think the Benoit situation caused me to take a step back.
