Close - I thought the reference to the Spumante might have given it away.

Spumante was considered a very classy option in 1960's when you had something big to celebrate.

The badge, the slowly decaying ribbons (and the now broken bottle of Spumante) were part of the decorations on the tables at McClures in St Kilda for the 1966 grand final celebrations.

Grabbed by my uncle and then given to me in the early seventies when he sold his house and moved overseas.

Some slightly interesting one's from the collection.

The adverts for that days paper that used to be out the front of newsagents, chemists, etc for Harvey's Brownlow and Saints making the GF in 1997.'

Issues 1 through 6 of the fan zine "Marching In" from 1998.

I found a couple of Marching Ins recently. Pretty terrible in hindsight but I loved them back in the day.
