What are your favourite songs at the moment?

Mine are:

Drive - Incubus
Monsters - Something for Kate
Sing - Travis
Shivers - Coldplay
Don't panic - Coldplay
Just the Thing - Paul Mac & Peta Morris
Hanging by a Moment - Lifehouse
Follow Me - Uncle Kracker

Bought Iced Earth's "Dark Saga" CD today, and am giving that a spin... not bad at all. No songs in particular stand out as yet, just a good even spread of fist-pumping heavy metal.

the new regurgitator song is pretty damn funny

drive by incubus aint bad but once again i like their older stuff better aswell

Staind are pretty average riding on the success of Limp Bizkit and being on Fred Dursts label. They have a few good songs on their old cd like 'Raw' but nothing to special.

Incubus are amazing. The whole 'Make Yourself' cd is fantastic. In fact all of their cds have been fantastic. Best songs of Make Yourself would be Nowhere Fast, Consequence, Make Yourself and The Warmth.

My favourite songs at the moment
"Hey We Want Some Pussy' - Live 2 Crew
'Prod' - Mudvayne
'So Far From The Truth' - Skinlab
'Damaged' - Fear Factory
'E I' - Nelly
'I Love To Say F*ck' - Frankenstien Drag Queens From Planet 13

my favorite ATM is the Beverley Hills Cop theme...CLASSIC

You mean 'Axel F'??? I wrote one of the Lynch Mob ditties to that tune.

At the moment, no new music takes my fancy.

Recent acquisitions include that 80s 5 cd box set (rapt it has Stacey Q on it, but would have preferred 'We Connect' to 'Two Of Hearts'.

Played a lot recently on the PC :
'I'm into something good' - Herman's Hermits
'Henry The 8th' - Herman's Hermits
'Listen People' - Herman's Hermits
'Last Train To Clarksville' - Monkees
'I'm Not Your Stepping Stone - Monkees
'Stutter Rap' - Morris Minor And The Majors
'Downtown' - Petula Clark
'How's Your Whole Family' - Red Peters
'Sonic Boom Boy' - Westworld
'Tower Of Strength' - Gene McDaniel
'Devil Went Down To Georgia' - Charlie Daniels Band
'Put Down The Ducky' - Muppets
'Goodnight Irene' - Weavers
'The Rodeo Song' - Gary Lee

This may (or may not) interest yourself and Mr Ripper...

On PBS after the Wednesday night metal show (which runs until 2 am), there is an 80s show which I sometimes have the pleasure (?) of hearing, trying to get to sleep after the metal show.

Last night they kicked it off with Ray Parker Junior's "The Other Woman", haven't heard that at all since it was current, and followed it up with a new romantic special, playing four Pseudo Echo songs and four Human League songs. Yes I survived the Pseuds, but lost it and went to sleep during Human League. There is only so much synthesizer a man can take.

FYI, the Pseudo Echo songs were Funky Town (actually a good version), Beat For You, Listening (a bizarre experience, honestly), and one other which I forget the name of. Unfortunately my older sister used to listen to a lot of new romantic stuff (didn't everyone born in the late 60s?), so they were scarily familiar to me.
