Favourite player is Paul Kelly. Might seem a bit strange but I still remember the 93 and 94 seasons quite fondly.

Favourite current player is LRT.

1st up was Brad Seymour - just starting to get into AFL. Liked his long sleeves, the fact that he just went about his business - efficient, good skills, no fuss etc.
2nd - Magic - for all the oppisite reasons to Brad - loved how he could turn other players inside out and upside down - all while creaking around on dodgy knees - just a freak. He's still a favourite.
Now love them all with an extra soft spot for Richards and Jack ( for my sins used to be a Balmain supporter as a kid and thought his dad was the greatest - nice to see the skills are genetic and used in the greater cause:).

My two biggies are one Paul Kelly, just loved this bloke and had the priviledge of meeting him at a fan day, just lovely. Adam Goodes absolute star and a great bloke to boot. I am adding Derek Kickett cause he was such a unique player and I would cheer loudly for him. Cannot split Paul Kelly and Adam Goodes club legends!!

I can't remember why, but as a kid in the late 90s my favourite player was Dale Lewis.

I also always really like our key backs. Dunkley was a favourite as were Bolton and Barry. Now Teddy obviously. Also, this thread needs more Andrew Schauble!

Paul Kelly was my hero growing up. Best mate got me a signed jumper from him wishing me a happy birthday on my 21st. But of the current day players it would be Hanners I think. Always loved Dennis Carroll as well. Just always seemed so cool under pressure. And there was plenty of that towards the end of his career.

Lewis was a favourite of mine at the time too. Always had the talent to become a superstar but it never happened. Still a good player though.

I used to love Brad Seymour. Could never work out why he wasn't spoken of more highly - not just by Swans fans but across the whole league.

Now it's McVeigh. I just think he is the most underrated player in the comp. I felt like this season he showed himself to be an elite player and in the finals he just seemed to always be in the right place and is one of those guys who always seems to have an extra few moments to make the right decision. Also, I'm bald too.

It was Bernie Evans until he bailed.
Then Greg Smith, who crossed to Collingwood FFS! So Ian Roberts it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah most kids had the number 15 on their jumpers he was the 'cool' one to have, also 20.. Teaser, I loved Robbo too, Rocket and Blossom.. One who doesnt get a lot of love is Max Kruse.. He always had plenty of time for the kids at training was a top bloke.

Best and favourite are two different things.

My favs are Gerard Healy from Brett Kirk.

Best of the Sydney era, that's tougher. Greg Williams, Healy, Kelly, Lockett, Goodes, all deserve a mention. Out and out champs all of them.
