Ahh yes, the old narrow 4-1-1-1-1-1-1 formation takes me back! From memory that went out of fashion when Luis Figo discovered this place called 'the wing' in 1992.

Michael Laudrup was a magician.

Oh woah, it looked different before I pressed post.

More of a diamond, sort of.

Cruyff at wide right, Baggio inside left but more central, Henry sitting behind Ronaldo on the left

2 year on and my favourites change.

Mignolet
Johnson Toure Agger Enrique
Gerrard
Suso Coutinho Sterling
Sturridge Suarez

We would get totally bossed in midfield but it's a favourites team, not a tactically correct team.

Your all time team which I believe is the one on the bottom has a severe lack of Kenny Dalglish???

I confuse.

Before my time. I respect what he did and he's a legend of the game, but I didn't really get the chance to watch him play. My first memories of watching football were of that Liverpool side from 1987-1991 so my favourites as a kid were from that vintage rather than the likes of Dalglish, Souness etc.

Fair enough, get on YouTube though and watch him. He was some player.
