I like some of them. My only qualm with them is that people don't seem to realise that the ones that become popular and actually gain the attention of the retailer are very, very rare and so they get fooled into thinking that Facebook is an appropriate avenue for complaints. Which it isn't.
Anyway like I said I do like them too, I was just wondering if that's what he was talking about.

The ones that really annoy me tho are pics of abused animals or sick babies, with something along the lines of "Like = I'm against animal cruelty, ignore = I don't care" FFS.
What's worse is people think liking the shit actually equates to doing something about it.

Thankfully I haven't had anyone on my Facebook make a status like "Like if you hate cancer" or something similar.
I've had heaps of those trending pictures circulate my Facebook too as well, usually the same offenders too. Unfortunately if I deleted said people they would definitely notice as they're in the group of friends at uni I hang out with

She then posts this in said birthday event "Harp tonight guys, should be there definitely by 9 aiming for 8
I wanna see you!"
Then about 2 minutes later she has posted the exact same thing as her status. What is the purpose of this birthday event then?
I assume this can only be decoded down to: It's my birthday, be sure to write on my wall and wish me happy birthday

I had a guy, yes a MALE, constantly posting countdowns to his birthday on his FB status. Not even his party, his actual birthday just so everyone wouldn't forget to wish him a happy birthday. What a flog.
