When a woman on FB posts something like "this kid is doing my head in today", I immediately think "get off FB, you attention seeking whore, and read or play a game with your kid". Dickheads.

I deactivated my FB a month ago, and haven't looked back. There's been 3 occasions where it would've been handy, but I got by.
 
is there a way to just disable feeds completely so i can use it only for messging? without going through everyone and unsubscribing manually?

but it's too addicting. i can get the same amount of rage from 10 minutes on my facebook wall, then i can from an hour's worth of hate reading the front section of the daily telegraph.

plus there are some goodies in there i guess. maybe i need a whitelist of people who i want to read stuff from (about 10 people), rather than blacklisting people... and to open up directly into my facebook inbox. that would make my FB experience much more pleasant.

OK I've been reading this thread and not contributing, so I am going to try and keep you entertained with this womans updates on my feed. I should really just delete her but too many laughs! We shall call her Hypocritical Catholic Idiot or HCI for short. She claims to be Catholic is a early thirties school teacher who is single, the friend who I know her through doesn't really speak to her much anymore cause this other woman is going out/recently married a very good friend of mine and HCI doesn't like him cause he drinks and smokes. But HCI is more than happy to stalk footy players (and is rumoured to have slept with married ones hence HCI). Anyway I digress, here are some below, and remember she is a school teacher and is teaching the next generation! Thank god she works at a Catholic school and my kids will never be taught by her!
