Just talked to my two housemates who are law students -
They basically said, that the guy photographed could only suit for defamation if the allegations were not true and: if the allegations have caused harm, to either his reputation or made him lose his job or something
However, the difficult thing in this case was that the woman who has effectively made allegations would otherwise have to prove that he has been cheating should it get to that stage, which I would imagine would be difficult for her todo.

The bloke that has been photographed has no right of reply now, the masses on FB have judged and commented. It Is a ****ing stupid situation and we are entering (or have entered) a paradigm shift in technology where quite simply the masses have no idea of its power, outcomes and consequences.....won't even get into privacy.
Social media hits another low as does this woman.

That's the big problem with this stuff. Doesn't matter now if its true or not. This woman decided it is, and the damage is done.
Even if it is true FFS, this is not a fair way to deal with it for any of the parties, except the Facebook busybody, who gets the attention she clearly craved.

I'm starting to think vealesy is the douchebag from the photograph. The sort of guy who would claim that anybody who doesn't cheat on their partner doesn't have a penis sounds like exactly the type of guy who would brag in public about how dumb his wife is because she hasn't noticed he's having an affair. The only flaw in this theory is that I can't imagine any woman ever wanting to be in a relationship with such a person.
The same reason that a person throwing a cigarette butt out the window on a dry, windy day bears the responsibility of the ensuing wildfire if one occurs. We live in a society where negligence causing harm is punishable.
No amount of "that awful, awful man!" is going to change the fact that this is something she (and anyone else) really shouldn't have done.
Don't think I've ever seen the word 'sin' used quite so ironically.
So, then, it's not as if everyone will cheat on their wife at some point. It's just that you would. You are the one who can't control your urges. You are casting a dispersion upon an entire sex based on yourself. It doesn't exactly work that way.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with monogamy. And, it is certainly not a sin against nature.
Note: Don't see this as me just thinking the world is all sunshine and roses. Have had a girlfriend of mine cheat on me, so I know the world isn't like that. Doesn't mean I don't personally strive to, in the future, have a loving monogamous relationship.

I think monogamy would be beneficial in nature. You know which person is bearing your child and thus putting your energy into their survival. If everyone was boning everyone how would people have known? Before dna testing I mean.

I've read it was pretty common for the women to have as many partners as possible immediately prior to, and post falling pregnant. This was avoid other male members of the tribe from killing the infant, and to maximise the assistance from the men. Many tribes raised 'communal' children - with no medical care infant and/or mother mortality was extremely high.
Similar symptoms are observed today in pockets of extremely poor education and low socio-economic standards.
Interesting. Makes sense. Human infants require a huge amount of care.
I don't doubt that you would believe that you would cheat on your wife. In the end, that's fine. But, if you do, you are awful in my books.
